Thanks for the mod, could you do patchs with green color? :steamsalty:

Can you make a mod that make the patch invisible? Would be great for more colorful clothings.

@VVentos

This mod should not conflict with anything, just changes some image files.
VVentos 30 Dec, 2024 @ 4:15am
Is this mod good with Brita, Stalker, SWAT etc. clothes packs ?

B42 Update
updated for build 42-unstable
- added all patch types

Please note you may need to unsubscribe and resubscribe on the first time after the build 42-unstable update to update the file structure changes.

@br3ntor I appreciate the notice. I thought I had gone and reformatted them all but i've missed some. It has been updated with regular format and should function as intended.

================ BUILD 42 INFO ================

I am currently playtesting b42 and trying to determine how things work now. A lot has seemingly changed. I haven't done anything with modding in many months, so it will take me some time to learn how everything must be done now.

With that said, there *are* plans to update my mods to the best of my ability. Some of my mods are quite complex and i'm not sure if they will even work with the new systems due to the way I designed them. They will likely have to be re-built from the ground up. This will take some time, and unfortunately I cannot give an accurate ETA on when I will figure out how to update my mods. I don't want to get hopes up or provide false expectations.

Thank you all for enjoying the things I have made and I appreciate all of your patience. :spiffo: ❤️

As others have said, please use regular numbers for Workshop ID, those fancy ones cause issues.
Haröld 7 Jul, 2024 @ 9:22pm
If you do update the mod can you make denim patches just a lighter grey
Durango (Ello) 15 Jun, 2024 @ 12:22pm
you right click on a clothing item and hit inspect, which is a base game thing with typical patching* -- the mod just makes the patches/padding you put on darker

How do I open the mod image panel? the one who shows you the garment?
Wildcard Hendricks 12 Feb, 2024 @ 8:14am
Is there any problems with other mods? Does not work with our server with a decent amount of mods.
WIZARD 1 Feb, 2024 @ 2:23pm
Great Mod, but just an FYI the font you used for the Workshop ID is different than usual server font, so can't copy paste into server.ini files. First world problems I know
kit 7 Jan, 2024 @ 1:15am
@Strigt you can also place this mod under ETO in the load order so that it's applied after the texture overhaul :)
Strigt 4 Jan, 2024 @ 2:40pm
If you're having issues getting this mod to work, double check to see if you're also using another texture mod like Every Texture Optimized.
You'll have to just replace the textures from this mod into that mod's texture files.
kit 2 Jan, 2024 @ 2:07am
Leather patches only, works great.
Captain Tofu 26 Nov, 2023 @ 12:21am
Oh yes! I actually never patched up my outfits, because it's so ugly. I tend to go for a more yolo fashion approach. This helps!
Rukio 30 Oct, 2023 @ 11:02am
I think this used to work.. is it only for leather patches maybe?
Using it on a MP Unstable (41.78.16) build

For those of you who copy/pasted it from here, because for some stupid reason, IT'S IN UNICODE. D:<
Frybso 5 Aug, 2023 @ 11:13pm
work for server ?
Snikkii 17 Jul, 2023 @ 11:55pm
Doesn't seem to work for me?
⋋Parad0x⋌ 10 Jul, 2023 @ 6:45am
thank you for this :)
Segaside 25 Apr, 2023 @ 7:24am
@⛧☾ maemento mori ☽⛧ Don't worry about the other mod dude. I gave it a test before this one and it doesn't always work since it hasn't been updated for quite a while. Hope you get around adding the rest of the patches soon and make them sandbox or mod option toggles. Keep it up!
maemento mori  [author] 3 Apr, 2023 @ 9:54pm
@FloofyEmo Go for it! It's not that hard! I've only been modding about a week and a half and it's been a lot of fun. Make sure to join the official project zomboid Discord. There's a modding development channel there that's very helpful!
PepperDog 3 Apr, 2023 @ 6:42pm
hell yeah, your mods inspire me to make my own <3
maemento mori  [author] 29 Mar, 2023 @ 2:57pm
@Highway1027 I'm not sure if that's possible honestly.

This works by directly switching the patch texture files. I'm not sure how you could apply a filter to those files or change the colors externally while still in the game.

The closest I can think of is having a few different color variations in a mod options section to choose from, which would be possible if there's interest in that.
maemento mori  [author] 29 Mar, 2023 @ 2:55pm
@MR Sunshine I saw that but decided I wanted to make / use my own textures instead.

I plan on expanding on this mod in the future for different patches in the future as well.

Thank you for your feedback ♥
Mr Sunshine 29 Mar, 2023 @ 4:33am
Not to bum on yah in any way, but Planetalgol actually released a mod that does exactly this quite a while back

Regardless, nice one! Especially since it’s your first mod :)
Highway1027 28 Mar, 2023 @ 10:38pm
Nice work. Gives me a idea but not sure if at all possible; would be cool if you could use paint to color the leather strips and that color would go on the character
Baki 27 Mar, 2023 @ 7:41pm
That's what i am talking about
Deon ☣ 27 Mar, 2023 @ 5:35am
Now I look badass. Thank you.
TheKobold 22 Mar, 2023 @ 5:35pm
I would love to see one that makes their placement look nicer!
maemento mori  [author] 21 Mar, 2023 @ 10:22am
Thank you for the feedback, it's very appreciated!

More mods coming soon!
Majmun 21 Mar, 2023 @ 10:19am
Does what it should, thanks
Veepo The Goblin Maid 20 Mar, 2023 @ 7:07pm
Neato. I always hated putting leather patches on because it looks like shit stains.
