in optiones search for "delete characters cache" and then your game will restart, try again and it should be fixed
Aside from that, very cool character, fantastic animations that don't feel over the top yet are still very cool and is a great homage to the soulsborne series.
on the bright side he can combo really well against someone who is AFK :D
i've been playing a lot of mods and having in mind they are done by different users, of course its kind hard ta have a accurate balance
That being said i have 2 suggestions because he feel actually too strong, "unbalanced" compared to the other mods if you wanna get the more characters you can to have more variety in the game.
His speed (time of "start" "hit" and "recovery" stage of atacks) and damage are too high, that can be noticed since a normal combo of 12-15 hits of him gives way more damage then usual / other fighters, not only that but also, because of the speed thing he can spam a LOT and make "combos" that use the same move used before the new one creating a chain of iqual moves with a lot of positive frame advantage, so reducing it should be good.
As I said earlier in my... Strange proposal to which you replied with a Princess and Conquest emoji, don't ask how I know that; this mod is spectacular, and I adore it because it is bloodborne, but also because it's so fun to play. I hope you continue improving it or making more mods like this, hopefully souls inspired, and know I'll be playing everyone you make!
Lastly, this is coming from the Bloodborne fanatic within me, a transformation similar to Gascogine would be damn impressive. Hitting an enemy in that form could bring health, as in consuming their blood while being able to tank more. This could also have a downside, like having less articulate or human moves in exchange for more offensive and damaging actions. You could also implement a bar for blood to obtain this mode to encourage aggressive playing, although that may ruin or enhance its play style.
When you get back to Ludwig, I have some suggestions!
Ludwig feels like a tank but plays like a rush down due to the lack of mobility moves within his arsenal. Now I know how because he has a big sword, and all this may make sense, but honey, this is bloodborne; when has a big blade ever stopped a British gothic man draped in black leather from turning into dust in mere seconds to appearing behind a beast? Giving him Eileen dash would be nice, or just a moonlight-inspired teleport would do the trick.
Second, his lack of special moves is annoying, considering that one attack (although excellent) could be more effective due to its number of counters and disappointing result. I feel as if the same could be said for the heal, as it lasts long enough for both players to duke it out inside, which, while cool and adds flavor to the fight, can also end up with you being pushed out of your heal move because you lack any defensive or mobile capabilities.
most of his specials are locked behind starting a combo
most multihits in specials give hyper armor at specific frames
tarnish step is an evade that shrinks his hitbox (because mod hitboxes are often too large so i had to make it smaller for its purpose) with a follow up
soothing moonlight is just a healing aura that works both ways
i will probably add a move or two on full release and have the move list with details. please be patient until then!
