While we are aware of how large paint regions can affect an item, we made sure to make it so you can identify the engineer even with the worst paints applied.
The shoulders, while they have stripes. Aren’t paintable on the top and and bottom, making sure that the paintable part is enclosed by team colors.
Same happens with the torso. Even if looking from the back, you’re quite likely to notice the red sweater and red segments on the shirt before you register slate.
However, If the item was to get in and cause too many issues, we’d adjust it accordingly
Well yeah but the paints i mentioned could make it *harder* to identify at quick glances due to them muddying/blurring the line of color domination. I wouldn't complain if the paint regions were made to be duller so that the controversial paints like slate and mannco orange arent as bright to not dominate the base team colored stripes. The misliad sweater cosmetic is similar but makes the paintable stripes more toned down
That would just cause a huge amount of team confusion among players if you only make it Black & White.
If the team colored stripes are Red, he is on RED Team.
If the team colored stripes are Blue, he is in BLU team.
Thats how i'd say you recognize them the best if the Slate color is painted on em. paying attention to the team colored stripes
