Like, a lot of items were moved from "player/items" to "workshop/items", or "workshop_partner/items", including weapons, but the majority of them were not actually moved, just duplicated. So a bunch of them are still on the old paths.
This includes textures, materials, models, and such.
There are some exceptions. The broken model for the Neon Annihilator is located at the old path rather than the new path, removing it would probably, no pun intended, break in-game.
If you want to go an extra mile, TF2 has a lot of unused stuff in the files. But... sometimes, these are used by map creators, so it's may be best to not delete those.
