I've release a road pack with this textures too. With adaptive networks you can select one of this textures for sidewalk, even in nodes if its a node between two roads of that pack ( otherwise you ll have half of the node covered)

Hmmmm. That could be worked around with the new Node Controller since now you can freely shape nodes as in the original. I will experiment and see if I can put together something to help.

There is one decal in the road pack. the problem is that network shader and decal shader are really different. same textures as decals look different (normal map problem) that why i've relesed a network pack instead of a decal pack. networks looks really better

Question for you. Would you be able to release any of the sidewalk textures as decals? That way I can cover up intersctions, etc. with the texture as well without it running into the street.

do you considering making this into a theme. So that we could use these sidewalks with any theme in theme mixer?

Kjedra. This texture on map theme will look really different. Pavement map theme doesn't have the normal_textures (that bump effect this textures has) nor the reflection textures. Networks shader has this kind of "effect" that make the textures less flat/more real

yes. They are decorative non functional networks. I use them often near the roads in my pack and i don't need another pedestrian path (that would cause citizen walkin trough buildings)

mm i don't know. this pack works like the surface network pack:

But has cutom texture instead of theme texture...and i've used AN to to make it possible to choose different sizes, instead of making 4 different objects 4/8/16/32m is all in one network. But I think you can import them into the editor and definitely make them a pedestrian path. Normally I use invisible pedestrian path below

I don't really know about AN; can these be independent ped paths or do they like, get merged to / change the road networks through AN?

oh yeah this maybe the issue but from the other hand imt allows to scale it pretty well also make few next to eachother so i guess for imt one size is enough while adaptive can be useful for larger areas like public squares and so on :)

I know the networks you mention, but they are not "adaptive" . have a single segment of a single dimension

the problem is that they are "adaptive". 4/8/16/32M size with AN, otherwise I would have had to make 4 distinct versions for each of the 9 networks . i don't know if they can be turned in a decorative network...you can't select a network placed with IMT and decide to resize it with AN

would be amazing as fo now i think there r only few such networks - Pewex's tram fundation, and lost gecko's decorative networks all of them are networks, water structures somehow i gues that this is the trick to make them work the way they do

just looking at those in game wow amazing :-o and u will hate me now but can we have those as decoratice network? it will allow to use them with IMT on any network <3
