crocket go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
While those are games that're very modern in their timelines, inspiration from a lot of modern-day games can still work in a game like TF2 if done right. This here feels like its on the right track, it just needs a bit of a tweak.
This entire set making heavy totally unrecognisable is something I'm gonna call balogna on, because this is a cosmetic set that's being given to arguably the largest and most recognisably tanky character in the entire game. This isn't drastically changing up his silhouette to the point that he's unrecognisable, he still has a bullet bandolier on him which is his most recognisable element on his entire character model and he's still got his weapon roster & animations that also add to his class recognition, much like every other character in this game.
While i must commend a fellow work-shopper for putting such effort into a cosmetic set, none of the equipment feels like it's from the 60s. Even if it was, you wouldn't be able to tell because of how dark it makes the heavy. Swapping his recognisable red T for a black long sleeve with deep red plating just seems like a serious (yet admit-idly) minor advantage against other players. And of course lastly, I cannot picture heavy wearing BOMB DEFUSAL gear like he used to live in Dust 2.
I apologise for the rant but I do feel like this kinda stuff needs to be pressed onto people on the workshop community.
