OHHHHH That's why my food keeps freaking getting eaten by random traders. I was just a caravan away from a shoot-on-sight order here lmao.

starving vagrants should not have food because that is funny for them

Would it be possible to add things like survival meals or other food to the different trade caravans in the Empires of Old series? Vanilla traders carry a food supply so they don't steal the players food when they get hungry, while all the different faction traders (sultanate, rising sun, authority, etc...) don't carry food so when their traders get hungry they instantly raid the player food supply and steal a bunch of food

without proper vision, not only do pawns perform these jobs much slower, they also have a higher risk of botching the construction, which ironically makes it so that it's literally just better for the pawns to work without the welding mask in the first place, so it's not balanced

@mightchat but... that's what a welding mask is? I don't think you can see perfectly through a light dampening slit. just unequip it after your done with the job

this is good content, but consider changing the welding mask's stats, the speed bonus to construction and smelting become meaningless with the huge debuff to sight

Fantastic. Is it possible to have a patch for Vanilla Ideology Expanded - Memes and Structures with Nationalist, my chance? If not, tha't sfine. (I like to edit the Ancient Government to be Nationalist because they seem like the kind that has commissars.)

@MangoCobra Fixed. Armbands can be added to roles and for entire ideologies. They will also appear if an ideology has the Supremacist or Loyalist memes.

@A1GamerZz That's not enough information for me to know what the issue is, but 99% of the time it's a mod incompatibility. Try verifying your files and reinstalling this mod, just in case, but if that doesn't work you'll probably just have to search through your modlist 1 thing at a time until you find what's causing issues.

Do you think you can make unique sets of webbing gear or ballistic/flak vests with pouches in your style?

@CosmoCone Probably all of the melee weapons, the brawler riot shotgun, and the pistols. I think that will cover most if not all of the pawns. The melee weapons and the shotgun are the main ones.

Tried it out ingame with the Red Hammer faction or whatever it's called, and it worked flawlessly in my experience. Which weapons do you recommend keeping in?

@Krazy4Games I expressed myself badly, sorry. What I wanted to say is that engineers are a faction that aims to build a rationalist civilization without the ideological and emotional demagogies that other groups need to rely on to survive; essentially, they seek progress based on science and reason - and this would be what would differentiate them from the "scrappers" that I mentioned, who, in turn, would not rely on technology and knowledge, much less on rationalism, it would be something more "mad max", where scrap and improvisation for survival speak louder than the engineers' desired progress. I think I make sense now lol

@CalliTheWildOne You have a very different interpretation of the engineers than I do, but I like it. It's cool. Yeah I see what you're saying about them being more primitive. That's actually pretty similar to an older concept I had that was scrapped.

@Krazy4Games noo, I mean, a more "primitive" faction; the engineers (at least in my interpretation) are closer to the "concept of a prosperous and technological civilization that is now destroyed, so we must restore it" than "we are children of a ruined planet, we were born in the ruins and wreckage of destroyed civilizations, so we have to survive amidst this rubble with whatever we can find among the rust and shattered concrete - even if it means having to fight with broken street signs and pieces of pipe as weapons". do you get it?

One of the best collection of faction mods I've ever played. man, I love your work, especially your narrative and aesthetic design. In an incredible way, they fit perfectly into vanilla and make the game much more intriguing and realistic. in fact, I have an idea for one of your mods; a faction of scrappers, that uses makeshift weapons and gears, and somehow loves the trash and ruins. keep the good work! thanks.

I just realized the title changes I was talking about were a part of a vanilla update. I dunno why Tyrann changed the title names. I liked the old ones.
