I'm currently running 683 mods rn so I'm not sure if I can go any further than that with oSB
oSB has it's own fps tweaks to fix stuff i would also say 60ish fps is good for StarBound trying to push any higher with a heavy modded game would be hard
menu opens, but game crashes when i load character
also the fps is still locked in the main menu
The lag I had was caused by quests and byos ship crew, so no wonder this mod couldn't help.
Apologies are in order, hopefuly somebody will come up with a fix for that later on.
while it lags sometimes still,
it only happens when i get new recipes. (as far as i've seen.)
but the best part, is that rather than lasting for nearly 10 seconds,
it lasts half a second.

You won't really notice much on a powerful rig, but I'm with the people here who also experienced having to live with a toaster PC. A toaster with 3-10 fps on this game gets up to 23 fps boost after installing even something as simple as a texture compression mod already makes a huge difference.
Next time I advice looking into things more and do research before dropping huge comments. We never know we might be helping with spreading fake news.
