I really like the new rooms but the respawn machine on coop does not spawn with this mod on :/

@AaronExe: the blue goober I'm not quite sure, maybe? As of right now, I don't plan to update it for Repentance+. I may consider doing that once the full thing is complete, as Rep+ is still currently in beta, and it would feel a little weird to update a random room pack for what is essentially an early access update. And as far as I know, Repentance+ hasn't done much with rooms other than simply adding more.

Alright, I finally completed the last major update to my pack. In this update I've added some more rooms and added about 200+ waves for Greed Mode. I might have done some tweaking here and there for previous rooms, but I honestly can't remember if I did, considering how long this took and how sidetracked I got with other things.

I think from here on out, if I do update this pack again, it'll just be some very minor tweaks. Don't except any extra additions for this pack any longer. For now, I am ready to finally put this to bed and move onto other projects. And also have the free time to just play other games, that's always fun.

So yeah, I don't know when I'll see you all next time or what project I'll do next for Isaac. But until then, I hope you all stay safe out there and live your lives to the fullest. Take care everyone, this is Samuel Cuchens signing out.

@<#533A99>Plati Thank you for the compliment, the next major and final update for this pack will be coming out whenever I get ready to go and finish it. I've already started working on Greed Mode and I'm about done with the Chapter 1 floors.

This mod's room style is so convincing and true to vanilla that I struggled to verify it was working with my other mods until I found Split Rage Creep in Corpse. Fantastic work :steamthumbsup:

@PeopleLikeStuff I appreciate your comment. I am trying my best to get this all done as soon and as efficiently as I can. As I do have other things that I am more interested in doing at this time. If you were wondering how the progress is currently, I'd say I have about ten, maybe eleven, more floors to add rooms to. I also plan to make some special rooms and waves for Greed Mode, as I think that could be an interesting shake up for me in terms of being a room designer.

I also did plan to make a new thumbnail for the mod, like an animated one, as someone did tell me that the current thumbnail could be the main reason the mod is not getting enough attention as is. But at this point, I just don't care about that anymore. I am more concerned on whether or not people enjoy what my pack has to offer rather than overall views, subscribers, and traction.

So yeah, for right now, I'm just going to take it nice and easy. Until next time, I hope that you and everyone else has a good day.

Hey everyone, just so you are all aware, I am still working on the next major update for this pack. I've just been busy with my schoolwork and personal stuff, as well as just getting into other games. I've been feeling a bit less enthused about Isaac as of late, and it's not entirely because of the game, I still adore it, it's just that my passion for gaming as a whole has kind of been soured recently due to the amount of cynicism I've been seeing surrounding it all. Some of it is warranted, some of it feels a bit overboard to me.

Regardless of all that, I still plan to get this update done and completed. And once I'm done with it, it'll be the last major update I make for this project. I want to move away from Isaac for the time being and possibly even just take a break from video games altogether.

So yeah, If you were just curious about how the project's doing currently and how I'm holding up, well, this comment right here is my answer. See you all for now and have a good day.

@PeopleLikeStuff Well, Exorcists are not broken, it's just that they are almost finished. Their general AI functions okay enough. If you were wondering where I got the whole information of them blowing up their Vade Retro ghosts when you get close to said ghosts, that information was from Vinh's 2nd Isaac AMA (ft. LeatherIceCream a.k.a Nik).

And for Rag Creeps, I suppose you have a point, I might look into them but I can't promise anything.

Sam432er - I appreciate the detailed response!

Was not aware Exorcists were broken, I always heard they worked fine in normal rooms (but I guess that wss either misinfo or people having a different opinion on what counts as "works fine" lol)

With Fanatics, they're essentially just Faceless enemies but with a different bullet pattern, personally I think that works as a normal enemy but I can understand choosing to omit them

And as for Rag Creeps, I dunno I still think they'd work here given you already included the other unused Creep. I don't think it'd really be redundant either given only like one other mod uses them (Guwah Creatures being mostly abandoned/deprecated too)

@PeopleLikeStuff There was a room pack that used Rag Creeps but it was deleted for some reason, plus I think the enemy was used elsewhere in mods like Guwah Greatures alongside the Arcane Creep if I remember correctly.

As for Exorcists, I have no clue how to make them work. Their odd movement mixed with the way they function being technically unfinished, as the Vade Retro ghosts they spawn are actually meant to blow up if you get near them, means that I don't how I can make them work in a way that is satisfying to play against.

And for Fanatics, they were meant for The Heretic's boss room and I honestly can't even imagine it feeling right to see one outside of his boss room. Because of that, I will not make any Mausoleum rooms with Fanatics. That may seem like a boring choice to just not do that, but I simply want to adhere to the game as best as I can, especially in terms of what enemies I choose to make rooms with.

Also while not strictly unused, there is always the Exorcist and Fanatic, enemies that only appear in Heretic's fight intro and nowhere else (despite being fully functioning enemies)

Disregard my previous message, I have now decided to just release the update as I have nothing else to really test or tweak regarding it, it's now finished. I also decided to just release it now to relieve the stress of working on it. So, expect me to take a little break from this project for the time being.

This update includes around 200+ new layouts, several tweaks to the mod's preexisting rooms, and also deletes and/or reworks certain layouts that were lacking or just straight-up pointless. I hope this will be enough for the time being, and I hope you enjoy.

I apologize to you all for still not releasing the update to this room pack as of yet. As of right now, I am currently far too busy with real-life stuff that I need to get done, I currently don't have the free time to get the update done and shipped. So don't expect me to release the update this month, perhaps expect it around August or September.

I am sorry for those that have been waiting, but I hope you can understand why I haven't been releasing it sooner, I simply need a little bit of time to think and do what is actually important right now in my life.

@Flash Isaac Horf Gaming Yes, the Split Rage Creep is fully usable, it can be spawned in-game and is a fully functional enemy. And thus, it can be used in custom room layouts

I saw that Vinh stated on Twitter that he is well and truly done with Isaac, the man really needs his rest and I look forward to what kind of ideas he has to show us all in the future that are not Isaac. And so because v1.8.0 is pretty much 100% not going to happen, I now plan to start updating this room pack once my schoolwork is complete by around the next month hopefully. That and also when I have time to myself. So yeah, stay tuned for more.

Just so that people looking at this are aware, I do plan to update this room pack sometime in the future. But I will only start updating once v1.8.0 of the game comes out at the very least, if it ever does.

If it doesn't and no official game updates come within the next 6 or so months, then I will still choose to update and tweak certain things within the mod regardless, I just want to give myself some time to do other things as of right now. But yeah, that's all I wanted to say, carry on.

@eltiolavara9 (Evil) Thank you dude, that was very much my goal when designing this. To avoid wowing you through gimmicky spectacle and rather take a page out of Ed and Leather's book and just simply make rooms that I think look nice and flow well gameplay-wise.
