I feel like the mines are really, really weak compared to the base engineers. It looks like later on they technically become more damage/mana spent but they still don't feel very good to use for some reason. Maybe remove the cooldown? There is another engineer mod that removes the cooldown from spider mines so it may just be that once you get used to that, having spider mines with a cooldown just feels bad :P EE doesn't address the issue of base engineer having no really good way to gain charge on a summoners build, but since that's an issue with the base engineer as well can't fault for that. Passives seem great, wish both of Resistors buffs worked for all damage types. Pets are great. Overall I love the thing.

One big problem though, the game can get softlocked since there are some quests scattered around that have no reward for the class. There is no way to back out of the dialogue and you are forced to kill the game.

Would E.E. work with a cannon build? JUst the two cannon skills + summons I guess? Thanks so much for the mod dude, revived my joy for TL--hadn't played in 3 years and LOVING the class!

PS Stats would be 60% str 25% dex 25% vit?

Please feel free to merge with your mod packs. I'm glad people are enjoying the character. I do not plan to do any additional work on this character mod, so please feel free to edit or balance as you wish.

Also, look at the wraithlord class. Comments say its fun and powerful. May work well in hard core.

By far the only viable elite hardcore class with essentials and synergy mod. If there are more custom classes that you think can live thru insane wlite hc mode lemme know. In currently in act 2 and its way more adreline pumping action with this amazing tweaked enginner. I have nethermancer, dragoon and couple others that came with synergy mod, i tested pretty much all of them including vanila classes and synergy mod in elite they pretty much dont last long. Lemme know which class besides electric enginner has the highest potential for elite hc content. I wanna try out more classes lol.

You should try out Noxmer or Dark Noxmer, strong classes with good defense and strong skills. Really fun class to play.

This is such an amazing mod, but the mines seem to be heavily underpowered in terms of damage. They just don't keep up.

Faeyon because the game treats this as a new class I guess. No matter how small adjustements, if tkaes a new class slot on the creation menu, the game will filter out the gear. There are unlocker mods for these things IIRC

Hi. I just want to thank you very much for this mod as it got me back into Torchlight II. I played the game about 11 months ago, but then I saw this mod and thought I'd play again. It really brough the game back to life for me and I had a lot of fun playing with it. I know that this mod is older and that you might not read this, but I really do appreciate what you have done. You made a really nice, clean, new, and polished addition to the game.

A good overhaul of the Engineer, particularly the summoning skills, but got some glitches in there too. Example: act1 slaver camp - when freeing the captives there is not offered reward item when I talk to them, this locks the game effectively because I can't close the dialogue and I can't get to the game menu either. This might be because you have overridden the quest-reward system in the mod, but I can't be 100% sure.

Magnetic field has 2 effects with two animations on your character. The reflect lasts the entire duration hence the icon and bubble do not disappear. However the dmg absorb has a limited capacity and will disappear when it is used up along with the animation on your character (so you can tell when it is used up). The dmg absorb was reduced to not make the character to godly with a straight immunity button, but feel free to let me know if you think the dmg absorb is too weak.

Bug report: Magnetic Field visual effect (and buff icon) are shown for 30 seconds, even if it has already absorbed the maximum amount of damage..
So you see the "bubble" around you, but you're not protected at all

Fixxed bugs with Amplifier and Electron Gun. Amplifer slightly redesigned and is now a passive. Thank you for the bug report.

As Mr.Tao I cannot use the electron gun, nor the amplifier with a cannon equipped. Railgun is the only cannon skill that works for me.

I can handle the nerf to arc generator although I wish it wasn't as bad but nanobots... that's just too much I went from +200% health to +20% atleast make it 10% per point

I think you should either reduce the scaling or apply a cooldown on some of his offensive moves like his first ability, I found them utterly broken being able to deal gargantuan damage far exceeding any other class i have played very quickly into the game.

Went with dmg reflect idea as it is easier to implement and dmg is always fun. Reactance proc now grants dmg reflect based off shields armor rating and no longer grants additional armor. This dmg reflect does not reduce the ammount of dmg you take. It only causes enemies to feel your pain.
