Is it possible to put all of your submarines into a single mod? Just downloaded all of your subs and managing the mod list is kind of annoying lol.

Doing a small spring cleaning, so I updated my Barsuks again. This one got more storage, some visual changes, a bit more speed. Bots should also have an easier time using the airlock in all three Barsuks.

Oh, that's substantially good news. Only reason I didn't already know that is because I have always just stuck with the Barsuk(s) in my campaigns so far... :steamthumbsup:

You'll keep the upgrades! Once an upgrade is bought in the campaign, it will always be with you. Imagine them as modular parts that are automatically installed to any submarine you pick, as long as they're applicable to the submarine's class and tier.
So to make a switch from the old Barsuk 3 to Barsuk 3.1, you'll only need to pay the base price of the new submarine.

But just in case, I would recommend making a backup of your save file before you download the update and try getting Barsuk 3.1.

Once bought in a campaign, your game should no longer rely on the Workshop files to load your submarine. A copy of the submarine file is created and saved as part of your campaign save file.
This means any updates I release can't mess up your existing saves, but it also means that changes from the update won't apply automatically.
If you want to use the updated version in your existing campaign, you'd need to find another outpost that sells Barsuk 3.1, rebuy it, and switch to it. It'll be treated as a whole new submarine.
And yea, I did tweak the waypoints around hatches. They do seem to confuse bots less often now.

Thanks for the update, but quick question, does downloading the updated Barsuks mess up storage/inventory on ships already in a campaign? In quite deep with my T3 Barsuk currently, and very hesitant to download this patch (even though I really want to especially if it fixes the pathfinding bug on the ballast hatch for AI...).

Good news! Huge update is out for all three Barsuks in my collection.
Barsuk 3 got a bunch of bug fixes, neat visual changes, small optimizations, and balance adjustments.
It's not as massively overpowered as it used to be, but the deconstructor has been relocated much closer to the fabricator! And I've even added more storage.
More testing with bots has been done as well and some of the waypoints got adjusted. I hope they stop breaking some day.

I tried fixing the problem and it seemed to work okay on my end after moving a few waypoints. But in the end we might just have to wait for the game's devs to make pathfinding around hatches more consistent.

Ah, right. It's an AI issue which can be fixed by moving the waypoints. I must've released the sub before the bots' pathfinding was updated and the old waypoint placement is no longer valid.

Hey, not sure if this is the subs issue or AI or both, but it wasn't occurring for the T2 Barsuk you made...NPCs that are wandering and/or on repair leak duty seem to get stuck on the ladder that leads to the deconstructer and medical fabricator, and they only get unstuck when you open the door there.

Hiring some help can solve that problem. Then again, there are many shuttle-sized submarines available on the Workshop, which may fulfil the "tiny, but efficient" role better.

There isn't all that much space for cabinets. I recommend using storage containers a lot, selling unneeded items at outposts, and utilizing crate shelves for storing stuff, such as raw materials.

Sounds like a built-in limitation in the game's code. If it only happens with this one submarine, then I honestly have no idea what could cause that.
