Just a heads up: with fine control over army composition coming in the military overhaul in 1.5, ACL will be discontinued and will not be updated for 1.5 and beyond.

Thanks for using my mod, and I hope for your continued support with my other mods.

Not for me it doesnt, I have a law that is volunteer only army, so no conscription. To compensate for not commanding conscription battalions I made more modifiers that increase the command limit (for the regular commanders). They are then applied by the button instead depending on if you have that law or not.

@Jeep91 They did that with a mod by a very well known youtuber, but in past years, especially with HOI IV they never ever did that while they took heavy inspiration for their paid DLCs, for example the propaganda mechanics for the soviet union

I wish there was another button called "Elite Forces". Essentially a small unit with buffs but at extra costs :D Im in desperate need of Prussian Space Marines

@IronPrats Promotions will increase the base/normal command limits. This mod only applies modifiers that will adjust the command limit around the normal command limit.

If you want to put more units under the same commander, you'll still need to rank them up. You can use the Expanded Forces option to fit in a handful of extra troops without needing a promotion, but you'll incur the -10% attack/defense penalty doing so and the quantity will not be as much as you could get out of promoting them (e.g. a rank 1 general at Expanded Forces will only get 5 extra regulars as opposed to 20 if you promoted them).

In short: if you need to adjust the command limit temporarily, use the buttons ACL adds. If you need to increase the command limit permanently/for the long-term, just promote them instead.

@Yagami No. This mod just lets you (the player) add command limit modifiers to adjust the limit closer to your liking for any given moment. If the game is struggling to assign battalions to your generals to begin with, that is out of the scope of this mod.

I don't think I've ever heard of anyone having this issue before, to be honest. Are you sure the generals you're trying to fill up are in the same HQ as the battalions sitting in garrisons? Generals can only pull troops from the HQ they're based in, iirc.

There is a bug in vanilla, sometimes leaders dont use battalion up to their limit despite plenty available. Do this mod solve that? Like sizeing up and down rearrange battalions correctly.
