When you get the time, could you tweak the chassis to allow the use of the 300gal tanks with no def used alongside the "exclusive" door steps (the set that has the toolbox steps forward and rear of the fuel tanks)?
Still absolutely loving this and getting everyone I play with to grab it too lol.
If you need clarification or confirmation on anything absolutely hit me up!
I know that the mod uses the in-game chasis, but it would be nice that in a future update we could see a proper model with the Twin Steer System, also, I don't know if a Drive Axle can actually be Raised.
Anyways, Nice Mod man.
As for other suggestions, there has been requests for other 8xX chassis as well, but 6x6 is a new one. I will consider them all once i have enough time off work.
Please tell me if any problems persist, and enjoy!
Looking at the .zip the chassis files look identical as does the mod name.
Putting the old file back in makes it work again, as does deleting the dlc_w900_tuning folder.
Copying the def files from dlc_w900_tuning to the normal def folder also works, and includes the fixes.
I do have the DLC, the truck in my save is using it.
Other than that, the mod has now been updated (Version 3.0), featuring compatibility with the recent W900 Tuning Pack DLC. Worry not, those who doesn't have the DLC will still be able to use this mod, thanks to the recent 1.48 mod structure changes. Please tell me if anything is broken, or even suggestions are welcomed.
Enjoy!
Would it be possible to give it a quick update so that your chassis options support the Cabinet option in the headache racks section from the new W900 Tuning DLC?
1) The highway killer W900 by Jon Ruda is not on Steam Workshop, this makes it impossible for me to link modifications to it as the Workshop Uploader would ask me to upload the model along with it.
2) I would have to ask permission from Jon Ruda in addition to buying the product, which i have not. And even without buying it, would be on a risky route of trying to ask someone temporarily for the files so that i can reference and modify it. Uploading it would be more possible (though legally is another question) outside of Steam Workshop due to reasons stated in (1).
I've tried with a soundmod (my Mack MP8HE) to link it to kriechbaum's (without having the soundbank itself) but the Workshop Uploader refuses to allow me to upload it due to the reference files (in this case the soundbank itself) missing from my mod. It sucks, but feel free to prove me wrong if there is actually a way around this.
Its likely you have a mod in conflict.
Thank you good sir/madam
Firefighter_Kay - I can, but it will take some time
Currently I'm diving into Blender to adjust the 8x4 chassis midlift axles so that they can support single tyres (currently they're doubles), you can see what i mean when you compare the 8x4 chassis between ATS and ETS2.
