Personally, the 9F is a bit slow for a FAST freight engine...

Small update, but I've added locomotive name labels to all variants (see the mod description above for more information on how to use them), renamed the 8F to a slightly more accurate 8MT, and added an auxiliary canteen tender. Enjoy!

For the Clans, the cab numbers are bugged. On one side they're always floating in the air between the cab and the tender.

Nice models, but the power figures are very unrealistic. For example the Class 9F "only" exerted about 1,118 kW (1,500 iHP) & 176 kN tractive effort at the Rugby test plant and on line test runs.

Any chance of genericising these loco's like your generic loco pack? The blue livery is very nice, but suddenly having BR on the tender after having blank tenders for decades is a bit jarring.

@Shadow_AI: I recently started a new job, so my content's probably going to slow down for a bit in the short term, but there's a pretty decent list of potential projects I'm looking at. Some of the smaller Standards come to mind, Thompson and Peppercorn Pacifics come to mind. But also some more generic coaches as well.

AH! I see what it is now. The number appears to be attached to the tender rather than the boiler/cab... so the number pivots with the tender so it disappears when the locomotive takes a bend.

Great mod, love the 9F, however the dynamic numbers seem to be off on it. They seem too far over to the right hand side. So on one side they are floating in mid air and the other they aren't there at all; presumably buried in the cab.

The 8F however is listed in the menus as a 4-6-2, not a 2-8-2

Thanks for looking into it, much appreciated. Having taken the Hide Vanilla Vehicles mod off, and using a new blank map, they still don't show up. I'll look to verify files - joy! - and see if that makes a difference.

Wow, these look great. What are the advantages to these over some of the models that Killakanz did for the 7 and 9F classes? Only they are some of my faves I'm using currently. Obviously, the class 6 and 8 have not been done until this mod.

@Quince99 I can't replicate the issue you're having and they work fine on my end. Maybe try unsubscribing and resubscirbing and see if re-downloading the mod fixes things?

I don't know about the hide vanilla vehicles mod as I don't use it, you might need to do some testing. Any more information you can give would be helpful.

Is anyone else having issues where the locos are not available in-game? They show up in Model Editor but when looking to purchase a vehicle in the depot screen, they don't appear. Having changed the year, they don't show up as a new vehicle in 1951; do they conflict at all with the Hide Vanilla Vehicles mod?
