They use the 2D style which was first used by Melony. Most of their models following Melony have used this method.

As for why they don't exist, that's because they made her model using the traditional eyes method for Source engine models, as I explained earlier to another user. It's impossible to do them when the eyes are created like this.

I meant like how SMG4 and such have the long eyes and dot eyes, and shrinking pupils and such, sorry for the confusion

Changeable eyes? What are you referring to? Also, they never update their models beyond the first week, if they ever do update them at all.

I never got why Meggy’s model doesn’t have the changeable eyes. Like, it’s shown in the videos they use it like with SMG4, 3, Tari, Melony, and Saiko, but not Meggy? My guess is that it’ll be an update on the Puzzlevision storyline ends, whenever that will be.

That's impossible to implement on a model that uses the more traditional Source eyes where it's a 3D sphere with a texture attached to it.

Also, I didn't make this model. I simply uploaded it to the SFM workshop for ease of access of SFM users and it is one to one with the Gmod version officially uploaded by GLITCH.

Closest thing you can achieve to that is going to the console and typing in r_eyesize (insert your value here). Examples like r_eyesize -1 to make them smaller and r_eyesize 1 to make them bigger. Values can go higher than those, I was just giving examples.

Twas a bad joke, most peeps I know who add custom rigs/models to SFM use stupidly high resolution materials, when really a 128x128 (or less) flat color would easily work with noone the wiser

I don't recall any of his textures being in that resolution. The only model I can recall where they had hem in that size was their old Tari model. The problem was the amount of textures and the format being BGR888, which is rather uncompressed compared to DXT1 and DXT5.

Well, I just asked Glithware himself and he said it's because the Pomni model has alternate eye skins, and the last one is the eye textures from this particular model. That's why it's required according to him. Apparently, the reason is because at one point, Meggy was voiced by Lizzie Freeman, the same VA for Pomni in TADC. It's just a reference.

It was mentioned why it was required in the Gmod version's description, but not the SFM version's description. This has been fixed.

Again, I don't know how to help you, since nobody else appears to be having these problems, and when I tested it, I had no issues myself. My only guess is that it's an issue with your SFM install. It could be an issue related to having a ton of addons downloaded from the workshop, but I don't know for certain myself.

This new model doesn't contain bodygroups aside from being able to take her headgear off. You can't take her boots or shirt off. It's like that in Gmod too.

They work fine for me. If your friend has issues, try uninstalling and resubscribing to the addon. If that doesn't work, verify the integrity of SFM's files. If all else fails, tell them to reinstall SFM. It's an issue only your friend appears to be having.
