I feel the main point of a minimap is so that you can see offscreen creatures, because I never really need the actual map, so a minimap would just be better for me.

I'd love to use this mod but unfortunately whatever config there is supposed to be simply doesn't exist. As it is currently, the entire screen is permanently darkened and there is a red circle floating in the middle of the screen. Also, I'm not sure a minimap replacing the usual map entirely would help with me getting lost...

Config not working, also sometimes the map just doesn't show anything other than the player and creatures (no floors or walls).

I'll try another try again but I'll turn off the Map mod made by the same person who made the SBCameraScroll mod

Same. Config unavaliabe and red cycle. All mods deactivated.

Same here with the configs being unavailable. It wouldn't be that big of an issue, except that the normal map is disabled with this mod active, so unless you already know the screen layouts or where you want to go, planning a route requires either going out of game to find a map or just hoping you can remember how to get where you're going with just a screen or two as reference. Nice graphics on the minimap. If they configs were working and or the normal map was still accessible I would have no complaints. Great mod.

Some rooms it acts like I am holding the map button and thus will start turning the whole screen the dark tint and works but other rooms it just doesn't activate. Not sure why.

Not sure what conflicts with this mod but seems something conflicts with this that it just doesn't show the layout of the current room
