I noticed one thing, I started this yesterday and a lot was missing (but didn't really knew it at the time), and this was also the case for Biffa, and apparently others according to comments here. I was dealing with really low land value and abandonment. But then I remember reading in the description "enable the "Vanilla" style in the content manager"! and that changes everything. Now there are medical clinics, fire station etc scattered all over.
yeah but, awesome city/scenario :) looking forward trying to fix it and building it.
I hope you do more.
Nice work!
Plus, then you have a nice not everyday city to play ahead from. That's an incentive not many scenarios have.
The city is beautifully crafted and I am amazed by the organic sprawl of this town.
I really enjoy playing this scenario and so far I’ve still got to finish the population goal.
Thank you so much!
Thanks again for the feedback, I really, really appreciate it!

I also noticed weird land value and abandonment issues. I'm not sure what causes it because I just let the zones grow in and upgrade naturally but they seem to over-level up anyway like complete idiots. Making everything historical only locks the appearence and they can still upgrade so this shouldnt be the reason. I did find that playing for a bit longer usually balances things out tho. I also have a feeling that the polluted water in the swamp could affect land value. I wanted for the scenario to have side objective like "de-polute the swamp" anyway. Im not sure how this would work tho and it's heavy speculation on my part.

But, three things are worth mentioning that could be a bit annoying to others as well (especially when playing fully vanilla),
1. (minor gripe) After running the game for a bit, a lot of abandoned houses appear as the land value is too low for them which leads to the next thing.
2. (minor gripe) As all the buildings are historic (quite clever to keep the city looking the same'ish) it leads to excessive amount of manual deleting especially when expanding roads and dealing with the abandonment.
3. (medium gripe, might be just me tho) Highway/roundabout expansion is quite troublesome without mods (move it, anarchy), as the roads are quite close there's no room for upgrading without completely rebuilding them.
Nevertheless, will continue to try and win the scenario, and trying again with mods to make it a bit easier :)
