Whenever I use a syringe it disappears from my inventory, I have both Client and Server side LUA enabled, is this happening to anyone else?
JlykyM 11 May, 2024 @ 3:38am
My bad. To use this mod in singleplayer you have to install *client side Lua*. Install tutorial is on *Lua For Barotrauma* mod page

Hi. Lua is instaled, but awter i use syringe on symbiont, nothing hapening, and syringe just disappears

Hey, do you mind updating it for the newest patch? Also, does this work for NPCs, or no? If not its fine.

Probably needs another re-upload again after the latest patch. Didn't see anything about fixing mod/game version and hash errors being fixed so I'm just assuming.

ya
Eebly sheembly 1 Oct, 2023 @ 10:20pm
does it work after you already get symbiosis and then get this mod
Captain_Fight  [author] 14 Jul, 2023 @ 3:26pm
youre most likely not playing with lua enabled then
Norix 14 Jul, 2023 @ 3:48am
Whenever the syringe is used it just vanishes and doesn't give the symbiosis extract
Rika 5 Jul, 2023 @ 7:42am
Looks like it's working now, thanks.
Captain_Fight  [author] 5 Jul, 2023 @ 7:05am
simply republished the mod, it should work now
Captain_Fight  [author] 5 Jul, 2023 @ 6:58am
weird

Turns out every time the game updates the .xml file for ALL mods also need the game version changed to the latest version, otherwise many (everyone?) who did NOT already have the mod installed prior to the update will get a hash error. As someone with no programming skills and very little knowledge, this game has some of the most ridiculous, asinine programming I've ever seen. Until then, anyone who did NOT have this mod installed prior to 1.0.21.0 will likely be unable to use it.

Source: I copied this mod, made an unlisted workshop version with the only change being the latest version in the .xml and it works fine. I reinstalled this mod through the menu and instantly got a hash error.
Rika 2 Jul, 2023 @ 2:00am
I'm not getting the hash error but a friend of mine is and we can't put it on our server as a result. Mod needs to be re-uploaded or something. On a local mod I can just remove the expectedhash from the .xml file, but I think it's required for workshop mods. I'm not entirely sure what to do fix this on a workshop mod.

cant seem to replicate the bug, mods work perfectly fine for me
Eris Vizierre 20 Jun, 2023 @ 4:34pm
hash mismatch errors have been popping up with the latest major patch, this mod also has one
Captain_Fight  [author] 7 May, 2023 @ 9:06am
fixed
TheSpookiestSkeleton 7 May, 2023 @ 8:50am
Also, more importantly, including things that don't get used up, like when I'm playing with neurotrauma
Captain_Fight  [author] 7 May, 2023 @ 7:36am
oops
TheSpookiestSkeleton 6 May, 2023 @ 7:55pm
hey, whenever I use any medical item I get a syringe back, including with say, bandages
Azure Nocte 2 May, 2023 @ 7:23am
So well-designed, this mod makes the game playble again! :steamhappy:
Captain_Fight  [author] 30 Apr, 2023 @ 5:26pm
updated the mod to add a completely new item like i said i would (as the mod relied on overwriting huskhuman.xml before, so certain husk-related mods wouldnt mix well with it)

the new version now adds a syringe with which you can extract the blood of husk symbiosis patient, and then inject other people

also requires server-side lua now

This sadly doesn't work at the moment, for us at least.
Kookoorooza 29 Mar, 2023 @ 4:12am
Lol. Thats really dissapointing that i need mods to apply symbiosis to newcomers.
TheSpookiestSkeleton 28 Mar, 2023 @ 11:52am
If you could make it so it only gives the symbiosis when the target is exposed to the ritual lantern then that'd be perfect, but that'd probably be a long ways off.
