-The Sassanids can only recruit Sughdian Warriors in Ctesiphon, in all other cities with maximum Royal Barracks you can only train the levy spearmen, so you have to send your Sughdian Warriors all the way back to Ctesiphon to retrain them
-Elephants, what happened? Did the Persians forgot how to recruit or train the pachydermic units?
I had to manually edit the romans to be more expensive in their unit usage and also made the generals more than likely to rebel.
decent
When I played as the Romano-British, i kicked the Romans out of Britannia and in 20 turns later they were back at the english channel with 30 full stacks, including many Prime Cohorts
My general feedback for this mod, or for any mod authors who want to develop a mod on this map:
- Western Roman Empire is OP. They aggressively expanded everywhere apart from in Britain. Western Roman Empire should be facing economic crises, and it should be struggling to cope with migrations of barbarians.
- Eastern Roman Empire also expanded into Sassanid territory, which in turn moved into India and central Asia.
- The hordes are too weak relative to the size of the Empires on the map. Maybe a few more stacks would be good.
- Saxons were killed off too early. Maybe give them a few more starting territories instead of only one.
- Is there anyway of preventing the AI from forming alliances and vassalizations between Romans and surrounding factions?
I'd like to report what I consider as a bug: turn 1 Alemani and Scythians became vassals to Western Roman Empire. Turn 2 Berbers did the same...
Let me recommend you some factions that are mostly underrated
Factions as:
-Kingdom of Soissons (at war with franks)
-Bretons (Armorican ones)
-Visigoths
-Romano-Britons (starting at war with the saxons in Britain)
-Hispanians like Basque, Gallaeci/Cantabri tribes (You could use some units of "Spain" from Vanilla)
-Suebi (at war with the Hispanians)
-Western Roman Empire holding only the Italian peninsula and Dalmatia (if its 475 AD it would be Romulus Augustulus the faction leader)
Maybe splitting up the Celts as Picts and Gaels
PS: My knowledge stops at this geography, I also have an idea what looked the like the Northern Hispanian tribes units thx to a friend of the region.
Do not hesitate for help
2-Very hard
Also interesingly the ERE (which is kind, trades with me and are beating the Sassanids)
Oh and also the pirates are a real problem, vermine level (3 fleets or 20 ships each with golden chevron)
You could just add Vanilla "Spain" rename it and change some troops (I know the troops of 5-6th century Basque,il help you with the research or knowledge)
PS, the Suebis also should be present, but as a horde faction
They were a vassal of Rome then fought the Visigoth and Franks.
Aside that, seems a good job! Congratulations!
You can either put them simply as Vanilla "Spain" or to reskin or make new historical units (My knowledge about it is quite good)
