Repair stacks now start at zero instead of one, easy fix codewise.
Reparing weapons is done via crafting, at a table, and takes much more time.
This crafting recipe does not show repair chances or amount it can fix.
The odds of a successful repair are MUCH lower at low skill levels.
Failing a repair always adds a repair stack.
Failing a repair always removes 1 condition (previously it was 20% chance)
Repairs grant exp on successful repair, a flat random amount.
Repairs are still % of missing condition instead of maximum condition.
More fixers added.
So i've got a lot of changes I want to make, but am still waiting for more b42 development first
I am not in a rush to update my mods, as B42 is still in active development. My modding will resume as the build becomes more and more stable.
Then I noticed I couldn't fix or remove some parts of my vehicles, im trying to find out the source of the bug, removing "vehicles repair overhaul" mod fixed the issue with car parts, but I still can't use use adesive tape or normal glue to fix my weapons...
im currently maintenance 4, if it changes anything
In the future if TIS completely overhauls repairing, keeping backwards compatibility will be very low priority.
This mod doesn't do anything to the context menu in relation to the vehicle GUI. And I mean literally nothing.
Can you give me a full list of mods you are running so I can accurately recreate this issue? Both of these features work perfectly fine on their own, it's very likely an incompatibility with another mod.
Any other info from the debug screen would also be appreciated.
but it makes me unable to remove the hood of my vehicle, and place weapons in my quick slot, etc
function: addFixerSubOption -- file: PrevenativeMaintenance_ToolTip.lua line # 37 | MOD: Preventative Maintenance
At present there is no way to see the threshold in game, however its not off the table completely. I really want a solution where I can indicate it on the weapon or repair menu itself, however if I can't I'll see about slapping in a lazier implementation of a menu somewhere.
Lastly just making sure, are you sure the server has the mod installed? Please double check by logging into the server -> hit esc -> click mods in the bottom right corner -> scroll and find Preventative Maintenance. Also the mod conflicts with the mod this was based on, "Custom Repair Settings", so if the server is running that mod too, it will conflict.
