Amazing addon, I consider this a must-have addon for Garry's Mod. You can customize your HUD however you want and you can make your HUD look exactly like Half-Life 2. You have some preset HUDs which can be edited or you can create a HUD of your own. This is one of my favorite addons and I highly recommend it.

Reinstall the addon (unsubscribe and subscribe again).

That means your game hasn't applied the mod. Restart the map or the game.

when i go to utilities there's no option for the mod even though i have the mod subscribed, and the only options on utilities for me are user and admin

Have you restarted the game? If you go to your spawnmenu, then Utilities, then Half-Life 2 HUD, is the "Enabled" checkbox ticked?

It would be amazing if you'd be able to add a feature where we can choose whether to display a "health percentage", like the default HUD, or a "health bar", so that it's compact. Also. I would love to see a feature where we can change the "weapon selection" element to be vertical. To go along with this, you could add a setting where the "weapon selection" element appears even though the "fast switch" setting is enabled, so I can see what weapon I'm switching to.
