@LightenedDark no it wouldn't. All the black market is is a loot table which is a config string, if any part of that string is incorrect the whole thing falls down. And making a mod MCM compatible is quite fiddly to do anyway.

What about including all vanilla enemies and then having MCM entries to adjust them on the fly, manually? It's a bit quick and dirty, but that would work, right?

MrCloista, could you add a setting to NOT roll for a type of corpse you already have X amount of? Like I don't want more officer corpses when I already have 20, but I could use more MECs...

@Yhoko loot tables are exceedingly easy to break, if 1 entry isn't correct the whole thing breaks down.

I edited it to add in stuff I needed and remove the other stuff but then tried to do it some more and broked it and don't know how q.q

Midcampaign is fine. Never tested it with lwotc so not sure.

I'm in like January and have every research done except archon which unfortunately screws beam sniper. I dunno where they are but sounds like there's a way to add them into the .ini so this may be lifesaver for me!

THANK YOU. Been looking for something like this for ages. Lacking the vanilla corpses is the one downside of running lots of modded enemies.

The one I always run out of most are Sectoids tbh. I was going to echo @Huyderman abour beast corpses (since the Buy Corpses From the Black Market mod does not seem to have a WOTC-compatible version). However, from what I can tell, you put it all nicely into the ini file! Yay! So I guess I can just go and add the sectoids on my own. :D This solves a long-standing problem. Super appreciated!!

@McCloista Fair enough, makes a lot sense lore-wise and you don't risk making alien corpses available too early.

I didn't add any alien corpses in part to differentiate this mod from the one that inspired it, and because to me it made 'head canon' sense that smugglers would salvage armour/mechanical parts to sell (which is usually where the focus of the autopsies is once past the basic trooper/captain, and are the parts of the corpses actually used for the gear they create), so no plans to unfortunately.

Nice. Would you consider adding alien corpses, perhaps unlocked late-game, or a companion mod? I tend to struggle with vipers and sometimes chrysalids in the late-game.

Lwotc - no idea as I don't play lwotc, I play ci. And no it's a loot table so theoretically they could appear beforehand. This is why I limited it to Advent, so no early codex brain etc.

2 questions: Would this work with LWOTC, and do the corpses of enemies only appear to buy when you encounter then in the game?

This is great thanks! Been trying to find ADVENT Trooper Corpses but on the later levels they hardly show. This will help me upgrade certain things.

I was thinking the base black market was a little lame. I mean even the real black market sells corpses.
