Report a translation problem
(Sorry I don't know much about this, I've just seen other authors using similar ways.)
Stealth bonus is hard to adjust because if you mess it up, you end up with invisible units shooting at you that you can't spot. It also breaks the AI.
A similar problem occurs in 1.5 and 2x, and can probably be improved by modifying the viewing and stealth ratings of units if you don't change the height parameters of items in the map
Not sure what you mean with the height differences, I don't think that is something I would be able to mod on my own. We can't really create new scripts or anything for this game, we can only edit values that already exist or make new copies of those same types of things. So if you're suggesting that I add some completely new mechanic to the game unfortunately I probably wouldn't be able to.
Not sure if this affects other rocket artillery as well.
Fixed the spotting issues!!! Apologies that it was broken for so long. As always let me know if there are any more bug reports!
This update came with a few structural changes to the files and as a result several features had to be disabled temporarily while I rewrite them.
However it should come with some bugfixes at well, and fixes to my own code that should eliminate most if not all of the recent issues with game crashes.
CURRENTLY DISABLED TEMPORARILY:
- Plane altitude overhaul system (high alt / low alt bombers)
- Additional supply cost for some weapons (LGB, MLRS)
- Most custom AI parameters
- Smoke grenades no longer show on the UI for infantry unfortunately. They do still function though. Remember that all engineers, command units, and special forces have smoke grenades.
Also, are there any plans to adjust the stealth mechanics? I've noticed that even though the scaling is 3x, the detection ranges don't seemed to have increased to reflect that. Sometimes, even with clear LOS, I can't even detect a unit until it's right on top of me.
This incorporates Eugen's fix to the AI!

The current workaround is to give the order individually to each unit, and then it should work.
You reported it first in the mod here before it started being reported in the base game though, so it's possible it could still be something on my end. Still need to do a deep dive into the files and see what's up, a couple other modders are trying to figure it out as well.
Glad that you're enjoying the mod otherwise though! I know how you feel lol, I can't play without the scaling at all anymore, going back to vanilla is always such a jarring experience. Anyways, glad you like it!
You doing great work with the mod though. It's pretty hard to ever want to play the vanilla game after this lol. It's great if you can get it updated any time soon, but if not, that's fine too. I know we are all busy with the upcoming holidays.
Is it crashing inside of the AG map? Or in the AG battles themselves?
Either way I made some more adjustments to lower the planes a bit more and see if it helps. It's not live yet though. Going to do a little more testing tomorrow and make sure it works. If it's been longer than 24 hours from this comment and I haven't uploaded it yet feel free to comment and remind me to update. I have the changes done on my side, I just have to update the workshop files and pages again.
