@Sup Okay. Make sure to verify your local files with Steam first, as most likely it's a corrupted game install and/or the Steam Workshop download bug.
Sup 9 Jul @ 10:39am
I've had the same error as below (I think; I can't even read the error message because the game lags so much after the save loads...) both in my current save game and in an empty new save.

May I send you (@algernon) a friend request so that I can share a Ufile.io link privately?
bakepotatou 1 Jul @ 11:05am
I got the same error but can't uopload til later
algernon  [author] 1 Jul @ 5:11am
@pablopmorales99 Please don't try to copy-paste error messages into the discussion; they mean nothing on their own. You need to share your FULL output log via a temporary file-sharing website.

@dfheryon This mod has nothing to do with trees; this is only for props. Most likely you've got a tree mod (Tree Control, perhaps?) with anarchy enabled; disable Anarchy in that mod to hide the trees. Also might be worth checking your anarchy/overlap settings with any network or building placement mods you have.
dfheryon 30 Jun @ 11:46am
Hello there, thanks for the work. I'd like to report a problem, i don't know if it's my fault or a compatibility thing wuth other mods but since i have this mod, trees spawn everywhere around every new thing i build or plop, even over constructed things like roads or through buildings.I always destroy them afterwards but it's tiring
algernon  [author] 3 Jun @ 11:33pm
@ohdro Yes.
ohdro 3 Jun @ 11:17pm
@algernon PO still works?
algernon  [author] 30 May @ 9:03pm
@Solafare Not reliably, no. The best way is to use Procedural Objects instead of props (via the Procedural Objects mod).
Solafare 30 May @ 6:57am
Is there a way to disable the prop limit? I'm having the issue of older props dissapearing whenever I place new ones.
algernon  [author] 27 May @ 5:40am
@KyL1nyu_ Check the mod's options panel for settings - especially those that reset the prop to the ground.
KyL1nyu_ 27 May @ 1:30am
Hi author, I want to ask a question, why I put a prop on the right height and after I snapped it, it got back to the original height (which is not accurate). Could you please tell me how can I adjust it?
algernon  [author] 26 May @ 3:34am
@yanlee985 Via prop scaling, yes.
yanlee985 25 May @ 9:31pm
Can you scale the decals in this mod?
algernon  [author] 13 May @ 5:47am
@chabiytb0792 Korean now added. Thanks in advance for your translation help!
chabiytb0792 13 May @ 5:07am
This is a very good mod, but I have a request. Please create a Korean translation page for Crowdin. All control mods support Korean, but the prop control does not have a Crowdin page, so a Korean translation is not possible.

@algernon
Thanks for the quick reply :)

I've found a pattern that might help: the crash only happens when I launch the game using Skyve and then click PLAY in the Paradox Launcher, followed by manually loading the save from the main menu. However, when I use the RESUME button in the Paradox Launcher to load the same save, it loads successfully without crashing. I tested each method three times and got consistent results.

I've also verified the game files via Steam, and no issues were found. Additionally, I tried loading a test city with only this mod, Harmony, and LSM, and it worked completely fine.

Regarding the problematic mods, you're right — some of them are flagged by Skyve. While a few of them currently have no proper alternatives, but I'll try replacing what I can. If the issue persists, I’ll get back to you with more details.

I'm a big fan of your mods, and I really appreciate all your hard work and support :)
algernon  [author] 5 May @ 2:38am
@lacoste Your log is showing that the game is in an invalid state at that point. Have you verified your local files with Steam? If so, please start a new test city with only this mod, Harmony, and Loading Screen Mod installed, and post the log from that showing the crash.

I also note that you are using several mods that have known issues. I recommend that you use Skyve to check your mod list and identify those mods so that you can remove them.
lacoste 5 May @ 2:04am
Hi, I’m experiencing a crash during savegame loading, and it seems to be caused by this Mod. The crash occurs right after terrain updates, likely during prop initialization. I’ve attached the output_log.txt for your reference.

https://xgf.nu/1xGc6

I’d appreciate it if you could let me know of any possible fix. Thank you!
patrioticparadox 2 May @ 10:49am
No, it is not. I am using both right now.
lukaszartyszuk 2 May @ 10:29am
This mod is incompatible with Intersection Marking Tool and game crashes.
algernon  [author] 24 Apr @ 10:05pm
@Goldfish Lover Which prop options have you selected in the mod's options panel?
Goldfish Lover 24 Apr @ 7:56pm
I got a strange bug going on that I'm pretty sure is due to this mod. When i load saves, all my props (and decals) and hidden below the terrain. If i grab them with move it and align to terrain it's fixed but they always load in below.
algernon  [author] 24 Apr @ 5:33pm
@chongkl I don't understand what you're trying to say, but the mod works fine and doesn't need any fixes.
chongkl 24 Apr @ 6:32am
did it shut down , fix it ?
algernon  [author] 18 Apr @ 6:10pm
@wahsalle Make sure the appropriate anarchy setting is activated.
wahsalle 18 Apr @ 1:51pm
props disappear when I try to place them inside the boundaries of a building...how can I fix this?
uncle ron 2 Apr @ 11:29am
Thank you for the fix algernon, works perfectly!
algernon  [author] 1 Apr @ 8:13pm
Updated to 1.0.1:
- Force-reset props to terrain height when loading a savegame with no existing snapping data
algernon  [author] 31 Mar @ 3:12pm
@"Pro" Bandit Yes.
"Pro" Bandit 31 Mar @ 11:02am
Does this mod allow you to submerge props bellow terrain level?
algernon  [author] 24 Mar @ 9:06pm
@SPHINX If it's not there (but other Harmony-using mods are present) then most likely you've encountered the Steam Workshop bug where it randomly deletes items from your computer even if you're subscribed to them.

Have you tried unsubscribing/resubscribing, and restarting Steam? Verifying local game files through your Steam client can also help re-download any missing items.
SPHINX 24 Mar @ 12:19pm
Ok, this is a weird one... I have Prop Control Subscribed, but when I go to activate it on the game menu there is no sight of prop control.

Is this because I have tree control?

Please note, I have removed former prop anarchy mods prior to downloading and starting a new save. Hopefully, someone has some advice. Until then, i'll keep trying to resolve on my own.

Thanks. :)
algernon  [author] 20 Mar @ 2:30pm
@TsukiRunsu This mod is only props and doesn't do anything with trees.

However, it sounds as though you have issues with render groups updating - try selecting all the trees with Move It and move them up and back down a step to regenerate the render groups.
TsukiRunsu 20 Mar @ 5:54am
Trees keep disappearing after I load the game. It only shows it self when I move something nearby with move it. How do I fix this?
algernon  [author] 10 Feb @ 3:01am
@gordon_424 Use Move It to marquee select all props (only), then align them to surface height.
NEW FOUND GLORY 5 Feb @ 7:19pm
Sorry, I figured out my issue, now it works fine, I had to set "place on ground"
algernon  [author] 5 Feb @ 7:16pm
@NEW FOUND GLORY It's hard to say without more details, but if you really can't place anything, then you most likely have an older broken mod that's stopping things from working. Use Skyve to check your mod compatibility (and then act on its suggestions).
NEW FOUND GLORY 5 Feb @ 5:16pm
I can't place any building or prop from Find it selector... What do I do wrong?
FrozenPlatypus 29 Dec, 2024 @ 4:01pm
Alright thx!
algernon  [author] 28 Dec, 2024 @ 9:42pm
@FrozenPlatypus Yes.
FrozenPlatypus 28 Dec, 2024 @ 1:24pm
Idk if this is a dumb question or it has been asked before but I don't want to look through 70 pages of comments so I'm just gonna ask. A lot of assets depend on decal prop fix and this says that the functionality is included in Prop Control. Does that mean assets dependent on decal prop fix will work with this mod?
li3108179 7 Dec, 2024 @ 3:51am
@algernon Thank you very much!
algernon  [author] 7 Dec, 2024 @ 3:42am
@li3108179 Unfortunately, that's not possible.
li3108179 7 Dec, 2024 @ 2:56am
@algernon I am really appreciated for this mod. It indeed helps me so much. However, how can I change the limit of props using this mod?
XDorazio 31 Oct, 2024 @ 9:48am
Thank you and thank you Algernon!!
I'll get home soon and I'll try it out 🙏🏻
algernon  [author] 30 Oct, 2024 @ 3:32pm
@Chris That sounds as though either render groups haven't been properly generated by the game, or the pops/trees are set at invalid heights. Selecting them all with Move It and realigning to terrain should fix either issue, if that's the case.
algernon  [author] 30 Oct, 2024 @ 3:30pm
@XDorazio The keys for scaling can be set in the mod's options panel; by default they are '.' (period or >) and ',' (comma or <).

To scale, select a prop to place, and use these keys (before you place the prop!) to change the scale.

Existing props can be scaled in the same way if you select them with Move It.
XDorazio 30 Oct, 2024 @ 7:30am
I wish to learn how to scale prop ... PLEEEEASE!!!
