One example would be the MK30A HMG50. Nato/turrets.

i retested with just this mod and it worked, I suspect maybe loading ACE + ACE No Medical is the culprit or another mod

This mod is really awesome for ground vehicles, but severe jank occurs on aircraft pylons. That's the only complaint I've got. Missile and rocket pylons tend to bug out and don't launch properly, leaving you often with 0 ammo but pylons still displaying missiles that don't really exist because you already fired them.

Should be ok to use them together. If a turret supports ammocan, it will always only have the current loaded magazine, so this mod won't do anything.

That's script vs config for ya. The mod is just a single script that runs on the reload input.

@Ampersand it's just that if you've already added a reload button to all vehicles and turrets, then auto-reloading ability them looks is ridiculous.

@Ampersand No, I understood everything. I suggested creating compatibility for the most popular vehicles mods/dlc. In fact, there are not so many of them - RHS, CUP, SOG, GM. But if it's hard to do or you don't want to, then I will treat with understanding.

You're not understanding that "config" means "needs dependencies and compats for each mod" and therefore is not really worth doing.

@Ampersand Thanks for the answer. Maybe, the setting with special config, would be a great solution. Please try add such setting, together with CBA3.

However, I ask you to pay attention to the fact that with manual reloading enabled, this should not affect the AI-gunners. Please try test AI-behavior also.

I suspect, that the "AmmoCan" mod did not take into account this affecting, for this reason at some point in the gameplay, the AI gunners of the vehicles stopped firing.

@_mickey_ would need config to disable auto reload
@Hirschi I could add settings for both. The chat is only for the person reloading, other players in vehicle don't see it, and there's no other way to check remaining ammo, since the "last" mag could have any number of rounds. As for combing, you would eventually need to do that at some point, the issue would be how to trigger that in a sensible way.

@Ampersand I understood what the problem is. I'll try to be more precise.

When the ammo runs out (any vehicle, turret) then automatic reloading starts.
It looks weird if the player has the "R" button to reload before running out of ammo.
This is strange, because any hand weapon in Arma3, after depleting ammo, always requires manual reloading.

Is there no way to disable auto-reload so that the player always needs to press R to reload?

Hello, very cool Idea. Is it possible to "mute" the vehicle text-chat? I just dont want to flod the textchat with "useless" information. Mayba also add a feature where it doesnt automatically combine belts?? jus an idea though.

I observe, that the mod does not work with the Dshkm machine gun from RHS. Mod in general should to work with turrets? Or mod aimed only by vehicles?

@SFC. Nik Wolf what did you do? I already gave this link myself a little lower. This is a buggy mod that I do not recommend to anyone. Because it will kill the AI-shooting ability for most vehicles. If you want to keep your vehicles from shooting at the enemy, then use this

@Ampersand On the other hand, in the ideal, I'd like to see ammo in the inventory of vehicles. Otherwise, it is not clear where the player reloads them from.
