Yeah, it replaces the projectile's appearance and visual effects. Instead of a bloated corpse it could be anything.

Is this straight up just replacing the projectile with a Bloated? I've been wanting to alter the projectiles of some single-entity ranged units for the sake of visibility, and I'm wondering if maybe that's the method I'd need to go for. Not with Bloated, but that would be quite funny

Strange, since this mod only slightly modifies a unit model, nothing to do with treasure islands.

i dont know what modmix is causing it yet, but unfortunately every time i hit a treasure island this mod crashes the game.

The vanilla particle_effects dont have gaseous_demise results, i understand you didnt create the vfx, just had no idea you can just attach existing vfxes to particle effects (if thats what you did)

I am not adding particle effects, just using the ones that already exist. Projectile_impact_tables decide what particle effects happen with every type of collision.
