I would like to ask, are the smaller grinders less effective in Food -> Paste ratio or energy consumption?
In order to still be XML-only I've decided it to be less effective in other way: nutrition cost per dispense is 0.4 for microgrinder and 0.35 for minigrinder.
Big one has 0.3.
2x2's are for mid game bases, while 1x1's would be definitely for end game when power consumption isn't as big of a deal, but vulnerability to solar flares spoiling and the rush to refill.
I think VNPE author just cut vanilla Nutrient Paste Dispenser into two pieces keeping the same total size :)
