@NerdgamerDave I checked few recipes:
Shrimp, onion rings, dough for pie and dough for bread.
Works without any problem, but baguette require wheat flour.

So yes, some recipe use only wheat flour, you need to check if recipe let you choose between flour/corn flour.

The corn flour is not recognized by the majority of recipes needing flour. Not sure why

No problem. I wanted to make some dough but no flour and realized there is corn and corn flour but on way of making it :)
