The beta designs are more clearly alien but grounded in a human visual design way, with the retail ones more sterile and oppressive.
its very deliberate that the only place that use envmaps is the glowing bits since envmaps ignore lighting, i had to manually rebuild the normal from the seperate parts
most of the time was spent on the glow eyes though, its hard to paint them in because of how the retail sheet was set up, also the vest caused me issues because the retail UV is different from the leak one and the vest needed a lot of work.
