Not a bad idea at all. However I think that it defenitely could use some improvements. Such as:
-Make the first texture a bit less noisy;

-Change the colour of the second texture of the blue variant to fit more with the first texture (maybe make It a lighter blue);

-Add a third texture that ties the first and second one together (maybe an orangie type for the red variant), it would also make the warpaint feel more exotic and look prettier, just don't oversaturate it;

-Maybe also add a fabric noise behind them so they look more like cloth.

I like it very much. I'd prefer the green on the blu variant should be duller and a lighter shade.

I feel like the red version its fine and its a nice concept but the blue one its TOO saturated, maybe try lighter colors on the blue one.

I think it could benefit on an extra texture material for some weapon parts like the sniper rifle's scope or the shotgun's pump, just a suggestion, it looks good on it's own.

I disagree. I also find it weird how red version is less saturated than the blue version, it makes it seem more like 2 different iterations of the war paint rather than 1 team colored paint.

Blue version looks much better than red version.
