wait do you NEED to use all three of the mods to use period? Or if i just use the Bow and Arrow and Crossbow mods will it work without britas?

that's great, but none of the comments talk about AT[R]O?

I already saw in the desc the base AT works. But I don't know potential internal code differences between it and ATRO that might make it NOT work, hence the question.

Hola, Tengo una partida con el mod del arco y la ballesta, pero los virrotes de la ballesta se consideran como municion y no como arqueria, tampoco los puedo poner en el carcaj, solo puedo poner las flechas, al cliclear los virrotes me arroja 1 error, pero lo demas funciona todo bien

So the Quiver doesn't work properly, whenever I try putting wooden bolts to the quiver it won't allow me, is there something I could do to try and fix it?

Luego de usar el mod en multijugador por un tiempo, noté que al matar un zombie con el arco, existe una posibildad (un 10% por tirar un numero) de que la otra persona sufra un pequeño dsync y aun vea el zombie vivo (cabe aclarar que esto pasa de forma menos frecuente con otras armas, y aclarar que estoy usando otros 255 mods por lo que puede afectar eso tambien)

@Kyrox I just re-read my comment and it sounds wrong. I apologize.

The B&A does not have spawn, but the add-ons do (they add it). Kitsune yes. Brita's yes.

This mod (as the description says) works as a bridge for all the users of mods that includes Archery-related stuff.

As for the compatibily stuff, we recommend Bow and Arrow Alternative Drawing Add-On or Bow and Arrow Alternative Drawing Add-On (No Dry-Fire Loss)...they are essentially the same (literally) the only difference is that with the second, if you dry fire you dont lose durability on the bow. THAT'S ALL.

I have change the description and included the compatibility with Bow and Arrow Addon for arrows to spawn. :cherrypie:

@MyNameis_Mati I read the description. Bow and Arrow mentions nothing about spawns There's a link, to a QoL addon that adds spawn. However that addon is not listed under your compatibility section. I've done my homework sir. Bow and arrow ammunition does not spawn in the the world. Remastered Kitsune's Crossbow Mod has built in spawns.

But I digress. Maybe I'll just go read some more. That seems to be my problem.

Although the base mods themsel already add spawn. I recommend you to READ the descriptions...

Does this mod make arrows findable in the open world? If not, would you consider adding some spawn points? Like campgrounds and the like?

when i play sometimes when i try to shoot it appears that an error has occurred and asks me to look at the settings could you tell me how to solve it i really liked the mod and would like to continue using it

@Mati, Actually, modular arrows were introduced last year. And you used the arrow IDs in Archery_Categories. It is "MandelaBowAndArrow.MBAArrowShaftWood". The tricky part is, Arrow Shaft, Arrow, Arrow shaft with feathering, Arrow shaft with arrowhead, all of these are MandelaBowAndArrow.MBArrowShaftWood.

@Mati, Hey. Been wanting to let you know for a long time that MandelaArrowWoodDucttapeIron (as well as MandelaArrowWoodDucttapeIronTaped) are no longer used in Bow and Arrow. Gluten instead implemented the creation of arrows via Lua. And now the same identifier is used for both the arrow shaft and the finished arrow, which creates problems for conversion. After these changes, when interacting with old arrows, for me personally, errors occur. But maybe it's only happening to me.

I'll give it a shot, thanks. What's driving me crazy is how sometimes just running brita/arsenal by itself is causing a million errors, so I'm currently trying to fix that. Thanks for all your help, you've been swell.

@Mati no worries bud, I guessed so. So, like an idiot, I tried to fix the sound issue cus I thought I could isolate it. There seems to be a deeper problem with my zomboid. It seems to be retaining some workshop files whenever I unsub/resub, even after doing a clean install (I deleted user/zomboid and steam/common/pjz as well as workshop/zomboid). I managed to fix this a few times before, but now it's staying.

First question, you said that the fix of FatherSarge works, but it's a necessary?
Second, as for the sound, I'm actually not sure but I think the 'reloading' of the bow 🏹 does not have a sound..the release does have a sound although it's very quiet.
That said, I think it's all done, I mean those are not life or death problems...

@Mati Hey man, could I get some help from you? I did some extensive testing yesterday and thought I got my sound issue fixed, but right now even when using my cross-checked list, some of Brita's Audio is just straight up not playing. Specifically, when I reload the bow, is there meant to be a sound? What plays for me is some sort of...squelching. There's no arrow firing audio, or any of the other guns firing audio either. I've checked their mod folders and the audio files are there (Though I can't find the original audio files for firing the bow, I did an isolated test and it worked earlier). Maybe something is wrong with my FMOD scripts? Is there a way I could check? Because my debuglog isn't showing anything.

@Mati I appreciate you keeping up with me. As of this writing, my new save works with little to no issue, besides being unable to barricade for some reason, but I'll try and figure it out. I have some questions regarding your mod:
Are Bow and arrows meant to be able to convert into Fiberglass/crossbow or is it disabled because of how understandably OP it might be?

Also,just a heads up regarding the "Vanilla convert to Brita's", the mod you listed IS indeed incompatible, but there was a fix released by FatherSarge which works fine so far (It forces you to use latest arsenal).

I'm still in the midst of testing(been testing since morning), but I think my results are (mostly) conclusive.
What caused the sound bug-> One of my cosplay mods. Not sure which yet, im still enabling mods slowly.
What caused missing arrow error -> I was using a mod that converted vanilla weps into Brita's. What that mod did unintentionally was force you to use the legacy version of Britas, causing things to go missing.

Skill recovery journal does NOT cause any issues. It was caused by other stuff. I also removed alot of un-updated mods (i sorted by update date), and i'm always loading brita at the bottom of mod list. Seems to work so far.

I'm sure it's not skill recovery because i've tested it in a vacuum with your mod + kitsune + bow n arrow, Brita + skill journal. No issue. What's actually happening is some mods are overwriting one another, causing files to go missing. I had some chinese cosplay mods enabled, and in my latest test, I discovered that enabling them caused a bunch of files to go missing and gun audio to stop working. Will disable them for now to try and figure out what's deleting fiberglass arrows from my game.

@Ayydrill i still think its the recovery journal mod...I also have 300+ mods but have never used the recovery journal mod (i don't like it...I think its for cowards) and it works 100% for me...
So pls do continue with the tests

@Mati After extensive testing, i thought my version of Brita's I had with my old save had some sort of update which caused major issues as I continued to play. As of this writing, I've started a new save, but have found that recipes have gone missing yet again. Additionally, most of the brita weapons have absolutely broken or no audio, but this seems to be an issue with brita/arsenal itself since I tested them alone.

Also, performing the action of converting into arrows gives errors, but I can assure you it's not Skill Recovery Journal's fault.

Test 1: I've tried removing mod recovery journal from my ongoing save but it does not fix the issue. It seems the core problem is that there is some sort of bug going on with Arsenal gunfighter itself. Error log [pastebin.com]

Test 2: Only have arsenal, brita, mod recov journal and cheat menu on. Fiberglass arrows DO exist. Gas can CAN be refilled. Looks promising. I have a huge modlist, so I'll be enabling mods bit by bit to figure out what caused this. I highly suspect it has something to do with the fact that I had "Hydrocraft mod continued" enabled on earlier in my save which I disabled later on. Will let you know what I find out.

@ Ayydrill I've seen that error with the Skill Recovery Journal mod, in fact just a few days ago I was dismantling some things in my inventory and I got the error where Skill Recovery Journal line #7 was reflected.
I clarify that I do not use this crossbow mod... Apparently it is something related to: Skill Recovery Journal

Well your error is coming from Skill Recovery Journal mod I think.
I even think that I've seen it before.

Hey @Mati, generally where should I cut off the debug report? I re-enabled way of the bow, the kitsune mod you suggested and bow and arrow. I tried converting the crossbow bolts and got this error:
