What i would like if it is possible, is that you Cannot put trap down if a Dino is near a certain Radius, even if its the radius of the Trap itself, it would enough.
While still completely unrealistic you can carry them, these traps makes more sense than you being able to build a castle-sized building around the dino in 2 seconds. They don't add anything new to the easy of the trapping to tame.
I have tamed every damn dino in this game ranging from a dodo to a full blown giga without traps, it is not required, this mod just lets me tame things without tracking them halfway across the map, but you never NEEDED to trap dinos in this game in the first place (with the possible exeption of the cacha i havent tried him yet)
Request accepted.
Commission work? Well, I can take any idea and try to make it, as long as it's in my abilities to work on and/or am interested in. I won't ask for any money and stuff though.
If it fits into your style or what you'd like to do or try out, shoot.
I have no issues at all if you include this mod in it.
I wish you success and I'll def keep an eye out for your content.
I will take these ideas on and improve my videos. In relation to PRO/CON/FLAWS of mods, I could do a review of the mods. As this was just a showcase (showing it off). I personally think a review is when you do the PRO/CON/FLAWS of a mod.
I am also considering making a Steam group for both Showcases and Reviews.
The video has been added.
Thank you for taking the time to make it. ^_^
1 thing that I might suggest for future videos is this:
-At the intro, when you mention the name of the mod, it would be nice to follow it up with a brief summary of what to expect from it before jumping right in. Like: "We are checking out the mod Hunter Traps. It let's you make and place cages to help ya out in catching creatures so you can tame them easier. Now, let's check these things out." and then segway into showing it off.
Another thing that would be interesting though not essential is maybe a PRO and CON to the mod at the end? I'm unsure.
That last one is fidgety though, cuz not everyone is open to criticisms.
I'm fine with it. It helps me see flaws that I could improve upon.
Anyway, thank you. :)

I think I can add it easily enough with the link.
Send it over whenever and I'll check it out and do the thing. ^_^
My cages were available in the engrams list.
I did, however, place both mods at the bottom of my mod list (since i added them just now, they went to the bottom right away)
One of those mods specified it's best to do that.
I think it was: Monte's Engram Unlocker
-DLC & TEK Engram Unlocker
-Monte's Engram Unlocker
You might wanna decide between one of them and not use both, I think.
I personally use the mod called: Random Configs
It has ini options to control engram unlock features and some other nice ones you and others might enjoy and save on mod space.
I think it replaced like 4 mods that I had lol
I have had no issue in general with it nor with this mod I made.
These following two are unknown to me, so I will check them out and see what's up.
DLC & TEK Engram Unlocker
Monte's Engram Unlocker
DLC & TEK Engram Unlocker
Structure S+
Monte's Engram Unlocker
And I have the forge S+ I'll see with the normal forge if it's in, thank you.
Thank you
Try searching with the word "cage" and see if they show up.
I think a few people mentioned this problem and it might be related to some other mods.
If you can't craft it in the smithy after learning it, this might mean the smithy might be a modded smithy, from what I have been told.
Do you have certain mods that affect how engrams are shown to you?
If you can, post in the bugs section any details you think could help me replicate your situation.
I'm thinking on adding another tier in between large and huge as well.
If things get a little too funky, I will be looking into reworking the cages or add another type of the same cages.
I'll see what I can do to fix that.
Once the creature is in, close it. (you can interact with it from behind it where you were hiding)
Alternatively, I think you can place it down right on them or net them and place it down.
I haven't tried that last part myself.
