@Landmaster Do everything as you did before like normal but:

In your mod.info file, delete line 4. If you leave that there it will require a dependency to work, so delete that line completely. It'll say: "require=truemusic".

And add two new folders, one named 42 and another named common. You will leave the common folder alone and copy the media, mod.info, and poster.png files into the 42 folder. Make sure you do this after you add your music to the mod.

Here's a guide showing you what do with them two folders if my explanation here wasn't enough: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3391657438

Hey, love the mod! Do you happen to know/have a guide on how I can update my own True Music addon that was made using the template mod for B41? I couldn't find any information elsewhere and unfortunately I do not know how to program.

ATTENTION! Anybody playing on Build 42 you will need this mod for this to work: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3397198968
This is only temporary until the official mod is updated so it is kinda buggy. The Walkman for example, you will have to equip to open the device options. There also ain't no Cassette Player in vehicles. You can however use this radio mod to listen to music in vehicles if you want to: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3100475013

table.insert(ProceduralDistributions.list["WardrobeRedneck"].items, "Tsarcraft.CassetteAliceInChainsAgain(1996)");
table.insert(ProceduralDistributions.list["WardrobeRedneck"].items, 0.05); Here is another one on this mod line 15 :) I hope this helps, if you want to chat catch me on discord... Look in your mods\truemusic_whatever\42\media\lua\server\Items directory and clear any lines with "WardrobeWoman", "WardrobeMan", "WardrobeWomanClassy", "WardrobeManClassy", "WardrobeChild", "WardrobeRedneck", and "BedroomSideTable"

My bad I'll fix it later, take them songs out, replace em with Alice In Chains Unplugged, n' add Sap to my other grunge mod
Doobie Keebler 12 Aug, 2023 @ 7:08pm
Very minor gripe, but there are some inaccurate listings for years. Specifically, Alice In Chains released the EP "Sap" in February of 1992. So the songs Am I Inside, Brother, Got Me Wrong, Right Turn, and Love Song, shouldn't be listed as 1994. Aside from that slight oversight, this is great.

Definitely my favorite True Music mod.
