I use a build and repair block, or twelve, Isy's Inventory Manager to autocraft components, and hi-jack hostile and neutral ships for resources. It's kind of cheating, but makes it possible to get ships like these in survival.

Also you being the amazing ship builder that you are helps us enjoy great ships like these.

I hope I get to build this thing in the next week or so. I'll probably just replace the custom turrets with some from the Aryx weapon pack, and leave the elevator out, replacing the space with hangar doors since I plan on using it on a server. Still looks amazing and I can't wait to try it. I just built your escort carrier and really look forward to building this ship alongside it.

probably tbh, the auto detection for DLCs is kinda bad sometimes

I have dumped millions in ice trying to fuel this up- so fitted some ions for station keeping.Got the bp for turrets from creative as suggested but its so dodgy when attaching the hinges -major clang alerts lots of damage.
Come see its a pve/pvp server.

I have a few of the subgrid turrets saved as BPs but stuff like the elevators and radars I do not have. Your best bet would be to load it in creative and detach and BP the subgrids separately. For some of the smaller turrets you could do them by hand maybe. And the cranes you'd probably just have to do by hand entirely as well. Major props to you if you actually manage to get the thing built btw

Hey love the ship.Am in torch serer (unlimited pcu) but trying to keep the subgrids to your design. Do you have the subgrids on seperate blue prints ?

The max PCU for me is 100k it wont let me set it higher and for some reason in admin tools ignore is greyed and wont let me select it

you probably need to either raise max PCU in your world settings or disable it outright, you can also turn on "ignore pcu limits" in the admin menu (alt + f10)

The problem it suffers, of course, is that all the cool custom turrets don't register each other as being part of the same grid as the ship, so immediately all start trying to shoot through each other enthusiastically.

Haha yep! If you wanted to be able to selectively enable/disable when you are sending the IFF transponder message, you could disable it in the radar script's custom data ("Share own position=false") and then keep using the transponder script.

That way you wouldn't be sending 2 transponder signals from the same ship :)

Awesome ship! Also, jsky, you don't need the radar transponder script as the radar script itself has a transponder built into it :)
