I feel like the oragne part is a bit too big and the skin looks a bit ugly on some of the weapon mostly the pistol other then that i think its really cool keep up the good work

I feel like it could be executed better but it's still pretty good
Take my vote :demoticon:

I like this a lot.

It could probably be done with custom code but that would be difficult and it'd kill any chance of it getting in game

in some alternate dimension, where war paints didn't exist, decorated weapons still roamed the earth, and this was specifically optimized for the weapons, and not plastered on the weapon, i'd pray to see this in game, but i think in the way war paints are set up, it's tricky to make all the weapons in this set look perfect. i voted yes, but deep down, i'd love to see some perfectly mapped gravitational medi gun or rocket launcher. minigun would look cool too. oh if that were the case, i'd take your entire stock.

It uses Helldriver as a base, so the orientations aren't actually random. They're just different on a select few weapons (such as the pistol and backscratcher, as you mentioned), but it was a necessary sacrifice in order to have the energy texture travelling along the barrel of most weapons.

Fantastic concept, but I'd say it still needs work. Random orientation (particularly on the pistol, back scratcher, and knife) isn't doing this any favors. Apart from that, I'd experiment around with other metal/plate textures to fit this more in TF2's style. The colors are good, but try different gradients of orange to make the "energy" parts stand out more (and also fit in with TF2 as I said before). Overall, this is definitely an improvement from V1; you're on the right track.

Thanks for the feedback. If anybody has any suggestions as to how I can improve it, I’d be happy to hear them. It took me a week to realise what was wrong with the previous version, but there’s not a ton of time left before the update deadline.

Alright, this one is better. Execution is slightly better. I kinda wish Valve didn't limit the textures and their quality. I kinda hate their system right now, but it's been the same since 2017. Can't really change it. Besides that, your war paint is better than the previous (although it also had some strengths!). Most of these weapons kind of remind me of Saccharine Striped! So you've got the formula in motion, keep it up!

It's a definite improvement from V1. Keep it up, you're getting somewhere with this.

And just have it as a solid colour? I can try that, but I thought it might be a bit too much at that point.

I'd say that you should remove the stripes from the orange/blue texture
