My favorite scout sub on the workshop, currently running it with my crew of 5! Perfect balance and very close to vanilla ships in performance, just as I like it!

Hi I'm have a problem with the railgun- coilgun. I have'nt play baro trauma since a while before the full release and now i'm returning whit my frind and we can't shoot the double click function is there somthing to do to try fix that?

You can also make railgun-coilgun work with Performance Fix by tagging relevant components with "highpriority", which will automatically put them in the priority list.

Edit: I am dumb. There are vents behind a lot of the cabinets, haha... anyways, as I said, great looking sub. Looking forward to giving it a run in campaign.

I'm eyeballing the sub in the sub editor and I quite like what I see, but I am curious what the function of linking the O2 generator to all the cabinets is for?

Found an issue with this sub:
When you dock with an outpost, if the railgun's cooldown is not over, it will be stuck forever, and you won't be not able to shoot neither railgun nor coilgun.

I took a look at the submarine and while it's very cool, there seems to be an issue with one of the ballast walls. The left wall (specifically the Tail Fin Old A part) is completely see-through. Is that intended or a bug?

@Knslyr Figured out the issue, I had placed the pump at the edge between two hull volumes at the bottom of the engine room. The pump was emptying the upper hull volume but not the lower one. Should be fixed now.

Also, on a multiplayer implementation, we took some damage in the engine room and now there is about shin-level water where the O2 generator is and nothing removes the water permanently. Repairing at the outpost doesn't fix it. Installing a portable pump fixes it for about 1-2 seconds and then it is back. As a result, that pump in the room constantly runs but never fully drains it. It is almost like there is a tiny hole in the hull that isn't repaired by "repairing at the outpost."

I absolutely love this ship. Finally someone put together a functional layout! Thank you so much for this. One note, for some reason I can't seem to get neutral buoyancy using the autopilot (even after just repairing at an outpost.) This is with all airlocks closed and empty. Any thoughts?

I fixed all the issues with the engine by making the large engine purely decorative and putting a scaled up, transparent small engine over it lol.

The issue with bots can't reach the engine appear after the latest update.

Can be fixed by moving engine a bit into the hull.

Sorry to add to your busy schedule, but bots still seem to have issues reaching the engine to make repairs. The bot would go fetch a diving suit (even though there is no leak nor flooding), and upon finding one, it'd report it can't reach the engine and give up.

@Soft Head no worries, I've added a note to the description to let people know in case they have issues with the railgun. Currently very busy irl so I'm not gonna be able to make a fix any time soon.

Found a small issue: the engine room hull extends several meters too far back, meaning that leaks there can't be fixed - i don't know if water can actually enter there (only had a small leak), but AI crew will get stuck trying to reach it anyways.

Dual turret works like a charm though.

@armykid442: the dual turret *kind of* works under AI control, it will fire the coilgun, but only 'accidentally' use the railgun when loosing the target for a split second - which usually happens at point blank range, so beware of hull damage. It will also reload the railgun but not the coilgun ammo.
Better to reserve that turret for yourself imho.

That's really strange. I had several people download and test the sub and none of them have had issues with the railgun. My best guess is that you have mods enabled that interact with circuits somehow, but other than that I really have no clue.

When you try to shoot the railgun are you pressing left click only once? Holding m1 will shoot the coilgun only. You should be able to fire the railgun by double clicking. There's no switch to turn the railgun on or off.

It should work fine with AI, from my testing they don't get stuck anywhere while trying to fix leaks and repair things.

Would this work properly with the AI in campaign? I play solo and am not currently at the point where I can try out a class 3 sub (nor do I presently have time to test outside campaign)
