so my pickaxes suddenly became blowguns and normal axes disappeared?

Ok thanks. I'll try that. Also, loading a new world with the presets from "Discussions" gives me "infinite rejects". Might be casued by faulty mod list mentioned before though I guess..Or mods updated to newer versions (50.14). I believe there is no way to fetch "old" version of mods, so if those are updated and I just pulled down collection, I guess I will end up with potentially too new mods..:)

I was able to launch a new world with the current list with no modifications to it.

My first guess that comes to mind, is that the mods in the list call for an older version of the mods.

So if you just downloaded this collection, you might be running into a conflict with the list trying to call for the old mods and simply not finding that version called for.

Try recreating the list via manual input, saving the list, and see if that works for you.

it would appear it is time for me do some updating again on the collection

I', getting following error when trying to load from the provideed json file for 50.13 (I'm running Beta 50.13 version in steam, for both dfhack and DF itself)

I've used notepad++ to add list into mod-manager.json, and I can select and load the list from in-game, giving be the above error.

Thanks for pointing that out, I've corrected it now.
Not sure when that happened or how that happened either, since it was copy/pasted directly from the json.

just fyi - in the 50.13 loadorder, "No Giant Birds" is using a curly double-quote, which breaks the json (depending on the text editor you use)

Hopefully have an updated list in the next week or so, with some extra goodies added too.

The Experimental Collection will be getting an update either today or tomorrow.
So if you're wanting a new experience and don't mind the Bugs that could appear, check it out.

@neeks there is DFHack which allows you to use their Mod Manager that can save multiple lists and load them just before world generation. Quite a useful tool. You can use it to embark on only mountains/oceans, or deep embark which spawns your group deep underground for FUN.

For anyone using DF Hack. Attached [docs.google.com] is a .txt document for this modlist as of now. You should be able to just convert it to a .json and replace it in your DF Hack or amend it.

was looking for a collection with good compatibility that added an assortment of stuff like QoL as well as big content. this was it! thanks very much. went above and beyond with the load order. now if only we had access to a mod manager or something on world creation!
