@Chromium Weapons sometimes can be equipped by the ancient soldiers. Other items -- no. As stated in the description of each item on this page.

Also this isn't a conflict as I've done tests by disabling every single mod except this one.
A lot of mods that add artillery break sieges by not excluding them from the buildable list for raiders when they drop in. They might be trying to build the ancient mortar, but I'm not sure why they aren't getting delivered any steel or components either

I don't know how or why, but this mod is breaking my sieges. The enemies just instantly decides to attack after dropping blueprints. They also dont get delivered any components. Disabling it for now.

@Lordlynel I could, but I don't know why you would want that. The ancient beer is meant to be an emergency mood and recreation boost without risks of addiction. I don't think this effect will transfer to cocktails.

Great mod! Would you consider adding VE Brewing compatibility for the ancient beer, so it can be used in cocktails to provide a bonus effect (Maybe psychic sensitivity or like an 0.9 recieved damage multiplier)?

Your suggestion does make sense so I will update the mod for ancients to have ancient weaponry.

Ah and I thought to give the equipment to ancients specifically to make them more unique and powerful sometimes. Ancients are sort of implied to be part of that "lost civilisation"
Oh well, different design philosophies.


But in regards to your second issue:
As far as I know, the ancient pawns have their own pawnkind.

Like raiders are split into different melee pawnkinds, ranged pawnkinds, demolition pawnkinds etc. Sort of like a "unit type" in strategy games.
That is why ancient pawns always have a similar set of equipment. In their pawnkind they got a restrictive list of things they can have and the stuff it is made out of.
By editing only the ancient pawnkinds and their equipment, only they get the stuff.

Maybe that is something for your future mods? I just wanted to try and clarify that mechanic a bit.

@1Z Rison I did, but ended up deciding to keep it to rewards and trading to make it a bit more rare as this equipment is pretty powerful. And also I don't know how to make them able to use this equipment without making other factions with spacer technology level use ancient stuff as well.

Have you thought about adding the ancient equipment to ancient pawns? (the pawns in ancient cryptosleep caskets for instance)

@Smiley Face Killer Don't feel bad, you aren't rude. English is not my native language so I do make some pretty obvious mistakes and typos sometimes haha. Fixed the description, thank you for noticing and telling me.
As for CE I don't know, I don't use it.

I feel like a dick and I am sorry but I saw another one... The ancient Mortar it says "is it" when it should say "it is".
Came here to ask if it was CE compat that you know of and saw it on my way down here. If not I'll cherry pick the things I can't use. Thanks for the mod (sorry again)

Not being a dick, but the description for Oldsteel makes it seem like the metal was lost due to technology.

I love the quest reward thing, helps when you don't get a ton of good choices from them usually so these'll buff that nicely.
