I just checked, I see ONE potential thing I may need to change in the mission override, otherwise I see no reason for this to no longer work.

It actually overwrites a large part of the story code to give the talent to people, so if that has since changed, this could be outdated.

If there is interest I can try to update it, havent played baro in a while.

In theory it’s shouldn’t be able to be outdated as I don’t believe it actually changes infection just applies it under specific circumstances

One of my friends had used the mod on a server we are playing on, and apparently the mod prevented the ritual from spawning, idk if anyone else has experienced this or not

Probably a no go. However you should be able to add the talent manually. Just add it’s name to the characters talent list in gamesession.

what if your already ascended and you then get this mod

The item only works when used by the person with the ascended talent, and will then give the talent, correct.

so when a normal person injects it into someone its not symbiotic but when and ascended injects it to someone it is hope im getting this right

@Horrodar Sorry for the extremely late reply, but sadly the Ascended talent is only given when you finish the storylineand get symbiosis, however it is just like any other talent, able to be given through commands or file manipulation, which since you would have gotten it normally I would not consider cheating, but thatd be up to you.

cool mod, was kinda planning on adding something like that once i got more into lua (like i stated in the mods' description) so i can add a completely new item so absolutely nothing gets overwritten, but it looks like youve beat me to the chase
