so ill start off by saying i love the potential of the mod and its goal, but in practice it falls on its face. for instance, the leader traits are all gender specific which when you have a female leader with a trait description of "he will give his life for his country" is really bothersome. then as far as i can tell, this mod forces you to choose negative traits, which is complete BS, overall very nice concept but its got a long way to go

When I start a game with this mod, a good half of the AI empires that spawn have no name and their empire type is labeled "Generic Empire." :steamsad:

Some of this content is fantastic, thanks! I've had to remove it from my game though because a lot of the traits are buggy. For instant the veteran promotions give three options that just have code as descriptions, and it was a bit jarring.

Favourite parts: Colonial Empire origin for expansionist start, Commando trait for admirals

does there need to be a specific load order? as I don't know why but I can no longer select your counsellor traits at the start of the game... during game leaders are able to select traits tho which is still cool!

Not sure if it's technically a bug, but the Federated tradition still references Admin Cap, which obviously isn't in the game anymore. Doesn't seem to do anything though or affect anything though. The description for that building also just includes the actual code, rather than a real sentence that says it adds a specific job.

I have to agree with Rawr'kraine. Way too many councilor traits appearing for scientists. Is there some way to reduce these drastically?

Honestly, this is low-key one of the best civics + origins mod I have seen in a while. It might actually replace a couple ones I have already. Well done!

So, with the massive bloat of councilor traits, I've found it rather hard to actually get non-councilor traits with this mod now. While I don't feel you should remove them, I feel they need to be made rarer in some way, maybe have the councilor traits only show up after a leader becomes a veteran or something? Maybe make the ethical themed traits only show up in the weight pool if the leader ethics are also matching?

Also some of the traits are quite overpowered, the medical one that gives +40 years to leader lifespan to all leaders is way too much on top of increasing all leader levels by 1. I'd bump that down to +5 lifespan. Outside of that several 'ethical' traits don't give ethics attraction as well, like pacifist, which makes it a completely free pick on a militarist empire, for example.

Understandable as there aren't very many leader trait mods to use as examples, the only other one like yours that adds a sizable amount of new leader traits is Paragon Leaders Expanded, which you could study if you want.

Hmmm, yeah I'm pretty sure negative traits aren't suppose to up as a select-able option on level up. Seems you forgot to add (negative = yes) for each of them to tell the game they are bad traits. You did add starting_ruler_trait so they should still show up at empire creation.

Glad you still update this mod, there's very few mods that add leader traits after Paragons on the workshop, so this is greatly appreciated!

The traits for the leaders are completely random so 〘ఠ _ ఠ〙... Maybe i can put a condition that prevents certain traits at certain ages...

Probably the latest update made the mod unusable even if I hoped to have solved it, I will try to redo the project from scratch and see if it works again

But, you can choose the emperor as a purifier, an impossible combo, it works fine I just find it hilarious and interesting.
