Oh, this gave me an idea, I will make a sniper crossbow for my reapers & keepers & snipers, they get some variety.

I know, I get the intent behind it. Sometimes for the sake of a game, though, I feel you need to emphasize a few things. I'm not saying it need a bang, but at least a nice twang from the snap of the firing mechanism would be neat. I know, small personal quibble.

Well isn't that how crossbows are? I like the sound effect of the crossbows, it would be silly to have a very loud stealthy weapon

But does it have a sound effect for firing? I liked the idea of the crossbow, but it being so silent really just bugged me. I respect the idea of trying to make it different, though.

Well thank you Stukov for making this mod ^^
I've been wanting to use the crossbows for my reapers for awhile without them being a direct upgrade to the rifle

and now that we have crossbows for the reapers and psi bows for the templars I hope that we get a unique-ist weapon for the skirmishers ^^

@Kinsect - you have two things editing the same template in a non compatible way.

no idea what's happening in your game.
just tried it myself ... swapping with no crash, no delay
also it is just a config not-mod so should not lead to any crashing issues at all

It doesn't seem to be happening again, probably because I forgot to set a shield item mod to ghost templates but it is producing a lot of lag
