Hey, i don't know if i'm missing something, but it seems that the grate door is smaller than the willis duct entrance/ the normal willis duct grate? Maybe it has something to do with the last patch (contact update), the patch notes say:
"Fixed an issue with the Willis Duct collisions forcing the character's head through the ceiling when walking in 1st person"
Soooo... did they enlarge it or what? Only thing i know is that it doesn't quite fit anymore. I did also notice this with another mod that adds to the willis ducts, so that is propably the issue i guess.

This is a really cool mod, could you look into fixing it, if you have got the time? <3

Was referencing this for a vid, noted that this does currently work as of this post. I do see that handle button that used to be yellow is now a barely visible grey, might be why some of you thought it was broken. Airtight/collision looks to be fine...

It doesnt work anymore. There is no highlight anymore when looking at it and pressing F on it does nothing. The only way to open or close it currently is trough the terminal.

It seems that it is airtight when closed. Which defies the purpose of a vent.

Another good door option would be an air-tight bulkhead inside a duct.

I love it! It should be vanilla, I don't understand why it isn't. Just a few things it needs:

- Tweaks to the button position to make it easier to reach from inside
- The block currently appears to be airtight on all six faces
- It's airtight whether open or closed

Lovely. Now I can even more sussily vent around my spacecraft

Possible issue: I found this to be more useful in my situations on the ladder shaft block on the grate side. While entering the ladder shaft with this v2 grate on is pretty simple, unfortunately I found because of the interaction position of the ladder, it prevents clicking on the v2 button placement. Of course v1 with the full surface interactivity solves this, but then I lose the nice collision of v2. Is there any way to either restore the v1 full interaction surface or either add or move the button interaction location on v2 with respect for situations like ladder shaft use?

I'm using this in a base I'm building and I've noticed that for some reason it doesn't show up in Projections.

Shows up fine when i spawn the base in with F10 but when I use a Projector the DuctGrate doesn't show up

does this upgrade (replace) the vanilla block or does it add a new version of it? reason I ask is I'm trying to use only vanilla blocks so nothing breaks if i put a blueprint on a vanilla-only server

@Crono099: Yes I can make many different versions / shape of duct coridor but not collisions. Problem is that I haven't been able to do block collisions on a new PC for a long time, that's why I don't make new mods either. Models are not problem but collisions yes.

would you be up for creating a duct that is like the ramp duct but it goes from the standard opening to the top edge ( so using two we could actually change level using ducts while just walking)

Any chance for version where the hinge was on the opposite side? If it'd open to floor (past 90%), would look more natural and could work as ramp at the same time.

Awesome! Can i ask you to look on decorative acces panels and conveyor shutters. Is it possible to make doors from shutters, and panels make seethrough to place them like covers on some displays or buttons?
