Love your mod! Would you mind if I borrowed some of your code for your ability to Raze cities into a settler? I'm trying to create a civ with movable cities (that will hopefully retain buildings) and your code would be a great base!

Hey, I don't know if its just me but its not downloading in my mod folder, and the manual download isn't working. Mind if you help me?

Автор, спасибо за то, что не поленился сделать цивилизацию моих предков. Что же касается комментатора ниже, то информция его профиля гласит: I am a supporter of cosmopolitanism . We are all one , please, love each other.

What's the name of the peace theme? I really like it.

This is the only truly nomadic civ I've found so far on the workshop, I mean the Xiongnu kind of have that feel but this mod really does the job. Good work
Kiki Bolataev 1 Feb, 2016 @ 5:16am
Do you plan to update this nation? I was utterly surprised when I saw this civ in the workshop - Alans are my direct ancestors, and you can rarely see anyone give a damn about them and how cool and mighty and stuff they were. Just askin'.
Sheep Sheepington 1 Oct, 2015 @ 5:54pm
There is an issue in teh fact that narts cannot stack with nomads
Mojave Neon 19 Jun, 2015 @ 11:24pm
I appreciate how incredibly unique you tried to be with this one. This civ has something of a learning curve compared to most other civs, but once you get the hang of it these guys are a lot of fun to play as. The horse nomad is fairly good, with its military variant being the real prize here. The UA is good, but could use a little tweaking. Due to happiness constraints, I couldn't make much use of the razing aspect until nearly the Renaissance Era. The point of sedentism's happiness bonus was just too small. It needs to be increased a fair bit, to allow for earlier organized razing/re-settling. The Nart is incredibly unique, but has a crippling flaw. The fact that it can't build citadels is just too big of a negative compared to its positives. The positives are highly specialized, and just not enough to make up for not being able to build citadels. Overall though, solid job.

Alright, looking forward.
Bubblegum  [author] 24 Feb, 2015 @ 1:27pm
The method I've used for detecting distance between cities, the way the Horse Nomads gain their combat strength, how the bonuses for settling away are decided and much more. The general idea of the civ will remain untouched, only the code will change. I might also replace the name "Horse Nomad", if I find anything better.
nix 24 Feb, 2015 @ 1:17pm
What is there to update? (unless you mean bugfixes) IMO it's perfect
Bubblegum  [author] 24 Feb, 2015 @ 1:05pm
@Okeh Thanks, hopefully I'll be motivated enough to update this civ soon.
nix 24 Feb, 2015 @ 9:17am
This is the most unique civilisation I have ever seen. Truly amazing job.
Rob 19 Jan, 2015 @ 10:39am
I have found a problem with this civ that if the AI plays it they wil make a ton of setlers but don't seem to be able to ectualy found a city.

I don't know if it was because i was ib a team with them or if it genualy doesn't work for the AI.
Mr. X 7 Sep, 2014 @ 6:14pm
Fantastic civilization! I sent you a PM on Civfanatics regarding possibly working together on a Romani mod?
Fenragon 5 Sep, 2014 @ 3:16pm
@ Yuanshi
You probably didn't completely read their uniques. It clearly states that you get 1 military for each 2 pop after the city was founded (so at 6, it means your pop increased by 5, so only two units. You'd need a 7 pop city to get 3 units).
Also, the unique unit is the Horse Nomad, replacing the settler which has a military variant spawning after razing a city.
No bugs there, just enjoy the civ ^^
Sheep Sheepington 16 Aug, 2014 @ 11:45pm
The special ability is quite buggy. Razed a city with 6 guys. Gives me 1 settler (which was also a miltiary unit somehow) and 2 military units.
Sheep Sheepington 16 Aug, 2014 @ 4:47pm
Can you only have 1 Point of Sedentism? If so, how do i keep track IN THE LONG RUN of which city is?
Alfe Fyr 12 Aug, 2014 @ 9:52am
Do Cumania. I dare you.
Byzantine Bomb 11 Aug, 2014 @ 10:10pm
Neat! This would be even better with YnAEMP support.
Kratos 11 Aug, 2014 @ 9:32pm
Wow the peace teme and the war theme actually do sound vaguely similar.
Baliff 11 Aug, 2014 @ 6:48pm
i couldnt get this mod to work
Random Guy 11 Aug, 2014 @ 12:39pm
@captain seasick why would you not want a madasgascar civ?
Gambrill 11 Aug, 2014 @ 10:43am
@captain seasick, Research before you speak. Fool

COF 11 Aug, 2014 @ 9:13am
Disregarding the troll below, a Madagascar civ would be great.
Amazing mod!
Captain Seasick 11 Aug, 2014 @ 5:33am
wat

I've never even once heard of these (probably made-up) types. Why should they be in a game where you play as the GREATEST civilizations of all time?

Christ... why don't you people just add motherfuckin' Andorra and goddamn Madagascar too...
๖ۣۜNoir 10 Aug, 2014 @ 2:20pm
Its gud
Cinq_Cents 10 Aug, 2014 @ 9:43am
Its just that there are a lot of mods by you that I see in crusader kings 2.
2_Julia Juneap 10 Aug, 2014 @ 7:20am
or the sarmatians
2_Julia Juneap 10 Aug, 2014 @ 7:19am
scytians you mean rone
roneneyal1 10 Aug, 2014 @ 12:14am
you should add saranis sytichya (or sytchyians), steppe nomads from asia minor (mostly turkey) that terroized the roman empire for the first few centuries, and played an important part at dividing rome to byzantium and western Rome...
their unique unit should be a settling camel archer (They migrated with heavy cavalry as security from other tribes) and perhaps the UA should be "Hit and retreat" a real tactic used by the sytichyans, in which a squad of horse archers would ride to the enemy camp, shoot arrows and retreat without being attacked... +50% fighting bonus when on plains, +30% fighting bouns vs fortifeid... their unique building should be "double layer paliside" which is a super cheap wall.
sorry for my english mistakes, it is not my main language....
if you will add this than you will be blessed by a Potato!
simoncarlnielsen 10 Aug, 2014 @ 12:00am

Cinq_Cents 9 Aug, 2014 @ 12:42pm
I'm guessing you like crusader kings 2.
MrXaviDRN 9 Aug, 2014 @ 9:02am

Pr1celess 9 Aug, 2014 @ 12:25am
Wow, interesting abilities. I like non-standart races. Thanks!
Mk Z 8 Aug, 2014 @ 9:54pm
while art is great, effects are too babelized and seem exploitable and not useable by AI
BossManJack 8 Aug, 2014 @ 9:50pm
Ey alan is my name :D
LazrDaddy 8 Aug, 2014 @ 5:10pm
how do you use these it never shows up as playable civilizations
Ashardalon125 8 Aug, 2014 @ 1:02pm
Thank you for clearing that up. There goes my plan of burning the continent! Still, this is a "must-play civ" on the list!
Bubblegum  [author] 8 Aug, 2014 @ 12:58pm
no, only work for cities you have founded
Ashardalon125 8 Aug, 2014 @ 12:46pm
Sorry for the long post, and the fact that many of them rely on a single point:
1) Do captured cities count for the razing ability?
2) If so, do you have to fully annex them or can you burn them while they're in resistance? With or without a courthouse?
3) For the military unit bonuses, how would that work with an enemy city? If they have 4 pop, would that make 2, or would it be based on when you took possession of it?
