I could barely understand, but @MooncatXVI, whom he is hardly concentrating on Valkyria mods, is taking too long to develop all of SEGA civs, thus, I'm afraid he is unable to make more of the Valkyria civs on time.

If he is unable to continue his modding activity, I'm afraid the other modders would take advantage of MooncatXVI's absence soon and be the ones to update all warhammer fantasy civs (which must now include all diploresponses similar to Eientel touhou mods, peace and war themes, change of uniques, etc.) as well as to make new ones, especially Vampire Counts that @Chancellor Vlad had requested, as well as the Wood Elves

But of course, there is Total War Warhammer 1-2 already, so why do we woould need civilization warhammer mod... >> I need to buy new pc to play total war warhammer. last TW I played it was Shoegun. Even Rome 2 is lagging on my laptopl ;D

Its interesting concept but not finished, unfortunately. To be proper Warhammer Fantasy mod, it would need few more races and map with true start locations, maybe also magic system and good-neutral-evil system instead of idealogy and so on. Of coure, tree of technologies must be turned off and so on. So far I found only one good fantasy mod for Civ5 and it is called Faerun. It has new civilizations, map with true start locations, modded neutral monsters and ancient ruins (true to lore of Forgetten Realms), magic system, heroes system (you have your own hero for level up and with inventory), system of morale (good-neutral-evil) and even Forgetten Realms soundtrack! I guess, they took it from Newerwinter Nights 1-2 and also from another sources. So... If this mod would be like this :D...

MooncatXVI will make more of the SEGA civs since the Warhammer Fantasy is under SEGA and the Creative Assembly. He would first do the Empire civ led by Karl Franz, whose UA is Leader of Men. Then Bretonnia, the Dwarves, Elves, and so on. MooncatXVI have created DiploResponses worth more than 100kb, similar to Eientel touhou mod.

But unfortunately, it went very hardly for MooncatXVI since he is currently in Valkyria, busy creating the Europan civs that are exist due to everyone seemed to have forgot.

@Don Julio, these are based off warhammer fantasy, and I'm pretty sure there are no battle mage clans that are independent or large enough to be a civ, but he did say he was going to be working on the Lizardmen soon in the line of civs

hey, this mod looks great, but what would make it even better for me would be to finish up all the civs, then, and I dont know if this is possible, add city states in for the other non-playable races with their own special units. (Kislev, Mousillion, ect.)

@Papa Dave, @fspike, @Just gold games09333, @Revan, @Yagmoth: thanks very much :-) I count votes for Greenskins, Lizardmen and Dark Elves. The next factions - when they happen - will be those three and Vampire Counts (@Jtohara19). Not sure of the order.

@Microsoft PowerPoint: you've confused your fantasy for sci-fi there, though I believe there's someone else on Steam doing a 40K mod. Love your slide shows, by the way.

@Titus: sorry about that, but the DLC lets me make more interesting mods.

@SoapboxLeader: interesting - I do know some people who have gotten my mods to work with multiplayer, but not with that particular mod manager.

@Jana-Iguana: that's a new one on me. Can you confirm you've got all the DLC? Are you using any other mods that might conflict?

@nicovallejos: I'm not "gone" exactly, I get comment notifications and read the comments, but I've reached the point where what I'd like to do next is beyond my ability with Lua, so yeah, things are on hold for a bit.

Curious that you think any of the currently released mods need updating because of TW Warhammer, though. Both are based on Warhammer's 8th edition so there's no obsolescence from a lore perspective. Why should the release of a Warhammer version of a game in a totally different franchise affect this mod?

With respect I also have to squash this idea that I'm obligated to make a Kislev, Estalia or Tilea civ. They don't have books in the base game and are not considered principal factions. I'm very unlikely to ever do them, and I won't even consider it until after the factions that have books.

Hey - your mods seem to crash my civ? Every time I start a game with any of them, it crashes on the loading screen just as you start with the settler and the warrior. Help :steamsad:

Alas, the author of the mod is still gone... Total War: Warhammer is already released several days ago, thus, all of the mods need updating; The lack of custom dialogues, unique units (I think it might be related to Total War: Warhammer), custom musics (soundtracks might be), all contributed to the mods that are already out of date. Also in need of civs the collection needs more are the Vampire Counts, Estalia, Wood Elves, Kislev, and Tilea...
