Anyway I'm going to be yet another person to ask for SOMW compatibility (if it doesn't work with it, I'm writing this before play testing this)

As of now, when you use a coloured crowbar, it doesn't give you the options to turn it into a spear. Due to them being separate items.
1) Yea, it works on multiplayer
2) No, this mod doesn`t support weapons from other mods
I have but two questions for you, kind dev: Does this mod works on multiplayer? And does it limits to vanilla crowbar only, or would it applies to tools/weapons added by mods as well? Like Halligan Bar from Tools of the Trade mod and even the smaller, one-handed ultilty bar.

From my perspective I think the mod is completely fine and optimized with the craft mechanic. It would likely be too much work to figure out how to hotkey the switching modes and add more clutter in the game files and likely mess something up as the game gets updated.
Keep the mod how it is in regards to the crafting mechanic. I think that the people having issues with it are being extremely lazy aswell as misunderstand the complications of modding. You've done a great job and I appreciate the mod how it is in that regard
It already does and the maker clarified that somewhere
just an idea. but dont listen to me x3
Base crowbar damage (blunt)
MinDamage = 0.6,
MaxDamage = 1.1,
Modded crowbar (spear)
MinDamage = 0.9,
MaxDamage = 1.2,
Crafted wooden spear damage (to compare)
MinDamage = 1,
MaxDamage = 1.5,
Crowbar spear has less critical chance than wooden spear(for balance purpouse)
@Mossy Oak Basing on a models alone i see that wooden spear is very sharp while crowbar's point of impact while using as spear is a bit bigger and wider (to endure work they were meant to do). I did however took your input into consideration and increased damage a bit.
Shorter then normal spear. more dmg and higher penetration but higher fatigue cost to use
Force = Mass * Acceleration
Force = Penetrating Power in this case
Mass is higher in crowbar vs wooden spear
Acceleration is dependent on the player's arms' motion, which should be consistent btw spear and crowbar
Mass goes up with the crowbar while acceleration stays the same, so the Force should increase proportionally to the increase in mass
(i'm currently playing a playthrough with this mod on btw)
