It may be that this mod is conflicting with something but for me this mod doesn't allow me to sway, seduce, or romance anyone. It always says their imprisoned or a child despite being 30 and free in my camp. It took me 15 minutes to narrow the submods down and this was the one.

People that are having trouble with this mod:
I found that in the events folder (workshop\content\1158310\2965880399\events) there is an event for the kingsguard that is conflicting with something either in core AGOT or one of the other mods. I was able to fix it by renaming the events folder to something other than events. As it seems like the only event trigger included in this mod is for the kingsguard, I don't think this will alter much, except to make the mod work again. (No guarantees, it worked for me though.) Good luck!

@heston15 Tyene is probably being given the Martell dna flag, which makes her hair black. I'm only guessing that's the problem, I haven't looked at the mod files.

@thebackwardnile I haven't had the chance to check this yet, but I think this might be happening because some characters appearances are not hardcoded in vanilla AGOT and anything that changes the games checksum (which all mods do) can affect the appearance of those characters

For some reason this mod switches the colour of Tyenes hair from blond too black? I am not sure why? I don`t know anything about modding, but it seems a bit random as this mod is about religions.

@Axel Is the Doctrine of Exeptionalism the only thing that looks different? If yes thats because Targaryen FOTS now uses the Adelphogamous Marriage(sibling marriage) doctrine instead, as the previous one is not functional yet.

Hey, so I have this mod at the bottom of my list but the faiths don't appear like they do in your screenshots. Targaryen FOTS doesn't have Doctrine of Exceptionalism for instance. Not sure what's going on with that.

@Ranger If you're more serious about modding CK3 the first step would be to get a good text editor. I use Visual Studio Code but any of the others work too. Once you have a text editor, you can set up a workspace with the game files so you can quickly move between the folders and text files. You can then create a new blank mod file from the paradox launcher and then just copy over any files you want to edit and start making changes! Paradox scripting language is fairly straightforward and easy to understand but can still involve a lot of trial and error to make it do what you want. There are also a couple of good yt tutorials that will explain this a lot better than I can in text lol.

@Ranger Gladly! I had always wanted to mod too and I'm so glad I'm finally putting in the effort.

To add the rite tenet you can copy and paste the filepath below in file explorer and that should open up a text file. In the text file scroll down to "the_seven_targaryen" and you will find the current set of tenets. You can replace one of those tenets with "tenet_rite", and then do the same below "the_seven_dorne" and hit save and thats it!

@heston15 Whether or not I do it I would love for you to show me how! I have always wanted to mod a bit but don't even know where to start. As for your reasoning that is very fair. I'm probably going to use your mod anyway in order to create tension/chaos in the realm.

@Djoi The dornish still make a distinction between bastards and true-born children and dornish bastards don't inherit either afaik.

@Ranger Thanks for the feedback! I understand where you're coming from, but even the AGOT mod is inconsistent in using the Rite tenet. The rite tenet also seems to be bugged in the vanilla mod and does not really keep the head of faith when creating a new faith in-game. I also think the current set of tenets represents those faiths fairly well. I might come back to this later but I'm going to leave the tenets as is for now

It is a very simple change in the mod file to add the rite tenet. I can show you how if you want :)

Hey @heston15 I love the idea of this but just a quick suggestion. In order to better fit in with vanilla and even other religions in AGOT mod if you want the new religions to have the same head of faith you should probably make them take the Rite tenet and take away one of the new ones. I know technically with modding you can make them have the same head without it but it doesn't technically fit in with the game design. Otherwise I would put this in my game in a heartbeat. Thank you though for doing this.

@Djoi well they still consider bastards as bastards and still use the "Sand" surname, but they don't consider bastards as being bad like in the other kingdoms.
