Unfortunately I don't think that would be possible, and I have no experience with integrating MCT support. I am making a quick version with a different effect now :)

would it be possible to have version that does the same but uses burning wrath (hashut spell) effect, this one stutters the sound and in larger quantities stutters fps too

Great mod.
It's still a very mid anti-infatry option compared to flame/magma cannons and other rocket launchers, but at least it can kill blobs semi-reliably now.

I would love to have trains with more of the artillery pieces being towed by them at once, it would really make chorfs!
Fortunately, this mod only touches the vanilla projectile and makes a vortex for it to spawn, so would be fully compatible with any other reworking for the Deathshrieker you want to do, or any adding of new artillery that uses it :)

If you do upload any mod with (hopefully relatively balanced) longer trains, do feel free to share the link here

I think an issue with the Deathshrieker Rocket Launcher could also be the shorter range, longer reload time and worse accuracy compared to the Magma Cannon?
I've tried some editing on the different things here and there (most likely not super balanced).
I made a little something for myself with 2 Dreadquake Mortars towed and a Deathshrieker towed by an Iron Daemon (I haven't seen anything like this in the Workshop yet?). It looks really pleasing with all the explosions, especially with the added visuals from your mod here :)

Yeah, I think this is a comfortable spot, it's still does the worst, but it at least looks better and does better than it used to. Will still be open to more people doing their testing, never know if people will find edge cases :)

This is true, and tbh unless you make the anti-large rocket a legit nuke on target, the clusters need to be competitive enough against magma cannon that it is worth technically being a higher tier, more expensive artillery piece. Or, well, higher structure tier to make...

Okay, at least against targets like stormvermin (and post-nerf) they are out performed by both dreadquakes and magma cannons

The biggest performance incrase will definitely be against squishy chaff units, but they'd be far from unique in the chorf roster at annihilating chaff

Currently also doing some tests (which I had done before making the mod) against stormvermin to see how their performance is affected. So far they still performed worse than max ranked vanilla ones when at no ranks

Alright, nerf going out, the spirits damage is reduced by 33% and the aoe is reduced by 12.5%

Fun as all hell, but also there's a graphical glitch when zoomed into the explosion. The moment before every flaming head spawns there's a black square that briefly appears. Or at least it was for me. Not sure what's up with that.

I hadn't felt that in my tests, but I also can imagine it matters how accurate the cluster itself is. Ironically, I have rarely felt the worst of the infamous accuracy issues in my campaigns, compared to some skirmish mode tests, and I have no doubt a square shot will mean the spirits also deal significant damage. But if it is poor as is common, then they just feel like they are a way to get some damage.

Also, using the burning head absolutely works, but could you consider the first level hashut spell vortex? I feel it would be a better vfx match to the rockets, but cool either way.

Another note, at the moment the spirits are not too strong, I don't want to make the deathshrieker just the best of the artillery units, but at least not as much of a bad choice. Also I always imagined it would do something like this. But if people find it's still too weak, I can look into tweaking the numbers until it's in a good spot

For note of viewers, the thumbnail image does involve multiple deathshriekers having hit at once, it is much less per shot per deathshrieker
