they do aim down and shoot your leg if you get close- aiming up also exposes your body. Crouching, standing behind low cover, or leaning with a shield does make it way more effective.

also! it doesnt block anything with explosive damage, such as HMGs, APC cannons, rockets, etc.

Bug: if you give shields to bots, then the sound of the bot equipping the shield is heard the same way at any distance

huh... still works for me? It does have a rather stricter hitbox the closer you are to them, so...

due to how it works, they just... aim down. Or their barrel is through the shield if you're too close.

the reason why theres a slit down there, is to compensate for mobility; If I extend it too downward, you wont be able to move forward without the engine sliding you around

I was able to get them to equip it using a Class weapons mutator, but because only 1 or 2 had it out of 200, I never got to shoot them

It should be able to block one or two bullets, right? But why can't I stop a single shot? Besides, flash shield is really cool.

It's not that it's not bulletproof.

It's that the bots can counter it.

well... It's a half shield.

And 1. some weapons have large spread, making them just hit your leg either on purpose or on accident

2. Due to how RF collision and how bot targetting works, they straight up aim down

Ok, uh... describe the situation where you're using the shield? The closer you are, the less efficient it is. Crouching merely makes you less exposed, and HMG bullets have explosion- Therefore it doesnt work against it.

OS barely has an impact, so... not sure whats going on here.
