The mod seems very interesting, but for some reason its not working. I'm subscribed to it on here, I have it properly enabled in the mod menu and all that, but everything that's supposed to show up in the "advanced zombie options" area isn't showing up. I've tried resetting the game, the server, making a new one, only using this mod, unsubscribing, and taking the mod off and putting it back on. For some reason, I just can't get that stuff to show up, would you, or someone who's also experienced this issue please help me?

was using Random Night Zombies, but Bandits mod and it were not playing well together (the bandits would die forever) replaced Random with this and not only is it working better with Bandits it is also better in that the weather makes them act differently which keeps game play exciting imo. a great mod overall

@Monclu you should make a decaying zombies mod where the zombie thats recently infected is has sprinter speed, excellent eyesight, good or full health, excellent cognition and everything else and over time the more longer its alive the more weaker it becomes. Its speed declines, its health decreases, its cognition declines and everything else declines and then it dies

I have some questions if you don´t mind,
Can you clearly explain what is night/day strength interval limit?
what 0.25, 0.5 and 0.75 means?
it´s about hours?
It would be great to change to hours in my opinion

second. When I choose (Z toughness: mild enhancement) on 0.25 and again on 0.5 that means it will add up? 1 enhancement + 1 enhancement = 2 enhancement total on 0.5. that´s it?

Great mod! Makes night time genuinely terrifying with sprinters. It would be amazing if you could choose the percentage of sprinters that turn, instead of it being all of them, like in the random zombies day & night mod :D

if you add the options to increase/decrease z multiplier population and change redistribution/horde behavior, that would make this mod one of the mod ever

@Jake4159 The time factor doesn't affect any properties of the zombies. It might be a new feature I can add, but I don't have a lot of time to spend on it at the moment.

@v7geta There are default values that affect Apocalypse mode, but it is better to change them to your preferences in the sandbox.

Is it possible to make a mod that uses your *climate effects* that changes zombies with the time since the infection started?
I would basically want to start with sprinters and then them becoming shamblers after a week or two.

Would this be compatible with A advanced zombie mod 2? I only use the speed option, to make fast shamblers faster than vanilla but slower than sprinters. Thanks.

Infact, all options related to zombies and your mod are resetting to defaults constantly. I'm not quite sure what is going on.

I had no trouble with the mod in single player but when I put it on a multiplayer server all the zombies defaulted from fast shamblers to slow shamblers. The 'Zombie lore' page keeps changing back to the slow 'Shamblers' option after I change it and even when turning the 'Minimum speed' in your mod settings to fast shamblers they're still slow.

They're also not speeding up during night even though the option is enabled.

The random configuration is not valid for this mod. This mod makes changes to zombie properties but always avoids the random value

Hi. I set speed, hearing, vision and memory to a random parameter. But all the zombies are barely walking, blind and deaf. What am I doing wrong? Or are they supposed to be like this in the first days?

Just the other day I was testing it and the first tier wouldn't be having any effect so you could skip it. I have it pending removal. The default values of the zombies would be the zombie properties if all the activated agents are in the first tier.

@Monclú, first off I love the idea behind this mod, it's really awesome.

Right now I am trying to fine tune it and figure some stuff out. Can you tell me what the first tier in the agents refers to? I understand the Interval limit section as thresholds for the system to change zomb stats, but i'm not sure what the first part with no value definer means. Is it just the baseline change for the particular effect? For example Night strength it would refer to 0-.25?

I have investigated a little bit and it seems that you have to use Windows-1251 codification. I tried opening a file with Notepad++ and was able to view it.

well, i've tried to translate it myself, but in-game the text became some nazi cipher, which hardly has letters in it, not even russian ones.

@DerkOfLagen : I have to check how the temperature is working. My tests were done with ºC. As Gherkin explains very well, these are the values the weather agent needs to reach for the zombies to receive the increase/decrease of the properties you have configured just below. I'm noticing that the first upgrades/decreases of each agent don't take effect. The zombies properties will be the default ones in the case that all activated agents have values below their first range limit.

@jUG05 : The interval values are the intensity or strength values of the weather agents. All except temperature go from 0-1. Yes, I still haven't found the ideal way to configure the mod. thanks!

but is the interval limit the max interval or minimum? like, 50% is a 25-50% or 50-75%?

@jUG05 i was bit confused at first but i think got it down, the interval limits are just the interval of of the weather/etc intensity that you wanna set ( you can make it so it has to be really sunny or really dark for your enhancements or dehancements , or you can make it come in layers like an onion.) though the default seems good so i didnt mess with those ones.

unchecking the "enable night/day/temp agent" shouldnt make your game break it could be another mod if it is. but unchecking the agent boxes i believe makes it so the zomboids will be unaffected by that aspect.

for instance i only checked the "enable rain agent" and in the three varying tiers i made it so the zombies became increasingly more powerful and fast as rain got stronger, but they lose their memory and hearing the stronger it gets as well.

yeah, i agree, it ain't a headache only for you now, imperator, there should be a lil description at least for the options. Also, i wanna know, what's the temperature that affects the Temperature agent and how it works. Like, there's a "Temperature interval limit -5", it affect all the zombies from temperature -100F to -5F, or 10F to -5F? and are these temperatures in fahrenheit or in celsius? (if not in kelvins, lmao)

@doodad : I just updated the mod, it is now configurable! It's been a headache for me, but I think it's pretty optimised. I hope you enjoy it!

@Jaxx : Compared to the Sun-sensitive mod, this mod does not change the actual behaviour of the zombies, it changes the properties of the zombies according to the weather conditions.

I wonder if it's possible to adjust zombie properties based on outside temperature? It would probably be difficult to implement I imagine. Had a conversation with my gf about how we would go about implementing that into the game through lua and couldn't find a solution that would not tank the cpu more than zomboid already does. Too much dynamic information. Even better: to have zombies 'thaw out' when they walk inside - essentially have thermodynamic zombies :-) oh well, that's just my rant. this seems like a cool mod, we'll try it out on our permafrost dedicated server playthrough!

Sun-sensitive Zombies had an issue where each zombie would randomly change type at any given time and it would be awful to deal with, how does this mod compare overall and in other features?

The config implementation is still in WIP sorry. I haven't updated the version number but the main implementation of the dynamic properties is on the mod. I need to update the description because there have been changes in the development

how do i configure how the weather and time of day affect the zombies? i don't have any sandbox options. Also, my game shows that the mod's version is 1.0.0, and if i get it right, you just forgot to update it, idk.
