How about an isekai mod, where if your pawn dies, the next save has the dead pawn reincarnate as a new pawn?

I just recommend people using Character Editor to save and then load pawns into new games for things like what mynameactually suggested.

It's been requested I'm not 100% how I'd do it.
I've considered maybe trying to get a chance for them to be "saved" and add a feature where you can add "saved" pawns to a new world.

Or see if it'd be possible to force-start a new world with a specific scenario (possibly hidden so it's more special) could be cool too! (The world settings would have to be the same with the same storyteller to make it fair to the player. But with a different seed)

Now someone just needs to figure out how to do this with your last surviving pawn respawn in a new world with a low chance. (Like some kind of man in black event)

It would be cool to get some basic description of each scenario so we know what we're getting. A lot of people don't download mods that don't have information upfront because their game takes so long to load they don't have the patience to test every mod to see if they're gonna keep it.

My game takes around 7 minutes to load with +/- 800 mods active but there's people out there that take much longer because they have a low end machine.

These are just vanilla scenarios for roleplay purposes. However reincarnation could be a cool idea for future versions of the mod!

So this means every time one of my colonists die there is a chance for him to respawn on another map or is it a completely other savegame?

I will definitely be adding more scenarios shortly with more specific and unique story segments!

Isekais are a form of fiction in which a person is killed and immediately reincarnates in another world. The closest Western equivalents that I know of are "Yankee In King Arthur's Court" and "Wizard of Oz", although in the case of the latter, no one dies.

The average person isn't meant for the mod

The average person is probably not going to know what Isekai refers to...
